Progressive Security Screens

I am big on security and I researched a lot of security screens and products. I took a chance on having this product installed on all the doors in my home. So far, so good. The screen door handles feel a little «flimsy» but the triple point locking mechanism seems to be strong and solid. In theory, these security screens are very good and they are far superior to any Home Depot type security screen doors in my opinion. I hope my screen doors are never «tested» by intruders but if they are, I feel the strength of these screens will significantly slow down any attempted intrusions or prevent them from getting through altogether. At any rate, these screen doors were the best I could find. And the service from David and PSS was top notch! David was always on time and returned calls immediately. I would recommend David and PSS and I plan to put these screens on all my windows in the coming months.

Like the other PSS reviews posted to date, I also spent a lot of time researching screens. I wanted something that would provide me with enough security to leave the doors open while I’m in another part of the house, but also provide excellent visibility to the outside, something that is very important to me. From my first conversation with David Shemula, he was helpful and a pleasure to work with. It took me a long time to settle on the PSS screen and David was patient throughout that process, going out of his way to set up a time I could go see one of their screens at a nearby residence and also bringing out a full sample screen door that allowed me to really see how it would look. These extra steps on his behalf made me feel more comfortable with the product and facilitated my decision to move forward with it. He at no time gave me a hard sell, which is something I can’t stand and would have turned me off to him and the company immediately. Once I had decided on the product, David also was extremely flexible and patient with me about the installation date, which I had to move several times.
I’m greatly appreciative of Mr. Shemula’s approach to the sale and installation. He was always friendly, patient and responsive right away to texts and phone calls. And, now that the product has been installed, I absolutely love it. It provides the high visibility that I was so concerned about and has a great track record for its security value. David has also offered to return and make adjustments if any problems should emerge.

Spent a lot of time researching the right security screen door for my patio. Met Dave at a home show and he had the product I was looking for. Dave came out, measured everything and delivered and installed the perfect double sliding security screen doors. Great product and Dave is tuely the best contractor I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I even had a follow question on an issue and Dave came to my house the same day and made a minor adjustment. You just don’t get that kind of service anymore. After researching the various types of security screen doors available, I settled on Progressive Security Screens. It had the right qualities: secure protection with high visibility. I made an appointment with David Shemula, who is their installer located in Marina del Rey. He is a very pleasant, low pressure, representative who believes in his product, and is always available for follow-​up questions. He came out to our house to take measurements (the doors are custom-​made to fit your doorway), and when the door was ready, he contacted us to set up an installation, and showed up early for the job. He was neat and efficient throughout. We love the door, which perfectly screens out insects while providing good air circulation and a very secure opening for our home. Many competing products have gaps between the door jamb and the door itself, but not the Progressive Screen door, which fits the opening like a glove. I would highly recommend Progressive Screen door, and David Shemula as a dependable, honest and efficient installer/​representative.
