so bad, unfriendly. Buy groupon online but have to pay over 50 dollar extra here. My parents know how to use gun and shot before, but because not familiar with English, they ask to charge another 40 dollars. Will never come back for sure!

First time at the shooting range and first time handling a gun. Tom was my instructor and showed me how to hold, aim, fire, and reload my 9 mm. He was extremely patient with me and gave me great safety tips. I left 100% more confident than when I first walked in. I will most definitely be back, working my way up to a glock 45(*goals). :) *Whether you are a newbie or advanced this is the place to go.

First time there tonight and we’ll definitely be back! The range is nice, and the staff was really personable. A sense of humor is always welcoming! And the brewery across the street is pretty convenient! Perfect place to stop in AFTER! :)

As a first timer, I had a great experience. The instructor was very patient and made sure I was comfy before leaving up alone. I think we spent $ 60 for 2 ppl which included a 9 mm, 50 rounds and 2 targets. Oh and ladies are free on Thursday! I can’t wait to go back.

Not a fan. I’ve been here twice. The first time the employees were unfriendly and communicated as though I was an annoyance. I typically try not to base judgement on one experience so I went back a second time today, and one guy was much more friendly. However they charged me for the board we are required to use to hang our targets because one round was ¼″ above the line. It wouldn’t be so terrible if they didn’t make that line right on top of where you hang your target, which is also already hanging below eye-level. I’m average at 5’10″ and am shooting downward most of the time just to hit the target. There is a much more friendly, cheaper, more professional, and all around better range not ¼ mile down the road. Why would I come back here? Well, I wouldn’t. Riverside Magnum Range is way better.

My brother in law and I went there a few weeks back for the first time. I hadn’t used a firearm in 20 years or so. The staff patiently took the time to patiently go over safety issues as well as explain the pistol from top to bottom. They answered every question and gave us support. We will be going back again real soon. I highly recommend this shooting range. They are awesome people with a large selection of pistols that one can use

I bought a groupon several months ago for ammo and gun rental here, good for 2 people. I called ahead and the rep assured me if I fired a gun before they wouldn’t charge me for orientation. Lo and behold they forced me to do an orientation even though I was familiar with firearm safety basics and range etiquette. Just an extra fee to ruin your day when you were hoping for a fun time out; added onto the cost you’ve already purchased.

It was my first time shooting a gun of any kind. The staff there was extremely helpful and patient with the group of people I went with. He helped us learn the basics of loading, aiming, and firing the gun as well as teaching use gun safety and correct firing posture. Prices were very reasonable with for a lane as well as targets. I would recommend coming here if it’s your first time shooting because you will get a friendly staff member to help you through the basics.

I went there today for the first time, it seemed like there was a lot of cars in the parking lot but there was a few lanes open so that was good. They have gun rental and many targets to purchase. I brought my own so I don’t know the prices. The place was clean and I spent about an hour and a half there. The staff was very friendly and helped me out a little to improve my accuracy. The only issue I had which was minor, was the motor on my lane went very fast so when I brought my target back you just barely tap the button and it flys up towards you and when it hits the stop the target would fly off. After a few times of this I just reached up and pulled the cable by hand. I will be going back and shoot there again.

The place is meh which worth maybe 3 stars. The rental gun(or ammo) is terrible worth no more than 2 stars. If you read other reviews talking about rental gun you will find they all mentioned about easy-to-jam. It is because of the notorious«limp wrist». Well, you may find all the excuses on customers who can not hold the grip 100% firm but the fact is it also relates to gun and ammo. Even charge for shooting at the target holder. This is really interesting because I can hardly recall anyone else do that. I will certainly give 1 star for it. One shot one the holder then it is yours. Pay for it. The customer service is… well at least their attitude is OK. So, 2 stars. To sum up, the average star is about 2 stars. But since the shooting experience is so awful I would like to deduct 1 so the final score is 1 star.

Been here 3 times now with my girl, and we both like this place a lot. Will be coming back a lot since we live right around the corner. The staff there are always friendly and a few of them are quite the comedians. The range officers will sometimes watch you closely and give you tips and advice on shooting techniques. If they’re not totally busy, which is cool. The targets are only a dollar a piece, which is awesome, and its only 14 bucks a person to shoot unlimited. I advise on buying bulk ammo online or at a shop, as that is the only pricy stuff they sell there. Two thumbs up for RISR.

I purchased a Groupon because I have never shot a gun before and it’s something I’ve been wanting to try. I’m glad I came here, the location is clean and safe. Tyrel was my instructor(because I had never fired before I assigned an instructor) he was amazing and patient. I didn’t to too bad for by first time and I credit a lot of that to him and his comfortable demeanor. I will be coming back for sure!

Welp, I just went here for my first time today and I will say after my experience with the range and staff, I will become a regular. I live in Rancho and used to go to RMR off 9th/Vineyard. Not anymore. RISR allows you to take in AR’s, shotguns, handguns & bows for the same price as RMR, which only lets you take in handguns, AR’s only if you’re a member for at least $ 80/yr. forget that nonsense. Especially the laws regarding BLM’s in the area are ever changing. The range is clean and well lit. Staff was nothing less that welcoming and friendly. I wish I would’ve gotten their names but it was an Asian man, black man and older white man behind the counter, and all 3 made me feel so welcomed. My only gripe is that targets are a little pricy compared to RMR but considering I can shoot my shotgun and AR, I don’t mind it at all. As long as I live within a reasonable driving distance, I’ll continue coming here.

I come here atleast twice a week and I spend money there but this time I went there they had the worst customer service the guy actually kicked us out for shorting too fast and it was my cousin first time here He didn’t even give me a chance to explain to him that he was his first time at a shooting rang Today is my last day coming here and forsure I will give my business to other places Coz am sure they will deserve it more than this place here

Shot my first 9 mm here and loved it! Range officer is nice and helpful — he told us to go on Groupon to get the deal on there to save money. Good looking out. *This is a handgun only place(unless you bring your own).

A little disappointed with my first experience here especially after reading all the reviews. I recently purchased a Glock 19 and was searching for a range where I could possibly become a regular. I entered around 6pmish on a weekday, was a little confused by the entrance. As I entered, I looked around as it was pretty big, and then approached the desk. The young man at the desk was not very inviting at all. I begin by telling him I’m a new shooter and this is my first time here so I wasn’t sure how this range operated. Automatically I could feel that he was annoyed for some reason, as his attitude was horrible. I thought okay, maybe he just had a long day and was tired? So I shrugged it off, began reading the rules, and signed the form. I picked out some targets and asked a question about the pricing and he gave me a death glare(he must have hated me for some reason?) and then told me the pricing. I entered the shooting area, was looking for a lane however, most of the lanes were taken or out of service and the ones available had the target holder already about to rip off. The same guy at the front desk walks through just to see how the range is operating I guess and I mention to him about the target holding clips about to rip off. He rudely responds with an attitude, «Well if you don’t shoot it off, it won’t fall off?» Automatically I made my decision that I would not return to this range again. I said okay. and began shooting. Another thing I disliked was how you are required to sweep up your leftover ammo(shells? not sure about the terminology). I understand its proper etiquette but at the other range I went to, the range officers sweeped them. If I did return, it would be because of the older gentleman(maybe the owner?) who was friendly(said have a great day when I was leaving) as opposed to the young man at the front desk.

Can’t say enough about Riverside Indoor Range. They are always safe and fun. My brother and I went on a weekday around 1pm and they weren’t busy(Best time to go). Where else can you go and shoot your AR, 9 mm and 45acp! Make sure if you bring your own ammo that they are non-magnetic.
