My husband had the misfortune of having his car break down at this gas station. We live about 30 miles from here and we purchased food from the Del Taco for the kids wet bought gas for our other car and food and drinks from the mini mart. It’s not like we were free loading from this place. I went inside to use the restroom and it was locked. I asked the girl who was working, Angel if I needed a key for the bathroom. She said, «No, there’s already someone in there». So I went and stood outside the door for at least 5 minutes. I could tell there was no one in there because it was so quiet. I went back to Angel and asked her again, Are you sure there’s someone in there? I’ve been waiting for a while. And then poof! She said«Oops! Here is the key»! Wow. I was in shock. This employee just flat out lied to me. First she said someone was in there and didn’t seem to mind that I stood there waiting patiently for someone to come out of the bathroom. She didn’t apologize, she had a smug look on her face when she accidentally remembered there was actually a key for the bathroom. That’s the worst treatment ever at a restaurant/gas station I’ve ever experienced. Reading other reviews, it seems to be a problem with this place. I will not be back and neither should you, if you want to be treated with respect.

Normally I wouldn’t be prompted to write a review for a gas station… but I think it’s a good idea if I can spare someone else some inconvenience. If you want to eat at the Del Taco here, you might want to consider going to a different location. I don’t really fault the Del Taco for anything — my food was pretty good. However, I couldn’t use the restroom here. I asked the gas station cashier for a key because they are locked, and he brushed me off as though I was a panhandler. «Oh it’s broken right now, and you can’t use the women’s.» I don’t think he even apologized for the inconvenience. I’m a bus rider, so it’s a hassle for me to go someplace else for a restroom because some places won’t allow you to use it if you didn’t buy anything. I also had just ordered my food… So there I was, eating my food and holding it the entire time because I didn’t want to leave my food there to go pee someplace else. I did leave this place with a «full tank», but the wrong kind…

A clean station but busy due to location. They have a mini mart which is convenient. I usually only get gas here when I am almost on empty due to high prices. Get a few bucks just to get me back home to Corona where I go to Von’s gas which is tons cheaper and I can use my club points and get 10 – 20 cents off a gallon. Good soda prices though.

Short review, its clean, usually busty due to its location but its a gas station. Part of the«Big Oil» folks that help rip us off for gas. You have to fill up somewhere and there are many horrible places to fill up, this is a good one.

This place is usually very clean and well stocked. The mini-mart has a big variety of drinks and snacks and there is a drive-thru Del Taco restaurant on-site. The location is easy to get to from E/B and W/B Alessandro as well as Mission Grove Parkway. You can easily pull a large trailer into the outside pump and the overhead cover is plenty high enough to avoid an accident. This is located in one of the nicer parts of Riverside. However, expect to get panhandled at least 50% of the time… with me, it seems more like 90% of the time! Usually, they are peaceful and not too persistent, but on occasion, they can be threatening and potentially dangerous. They target everyone who stops in, but they typically spend more time with those they see as easy touches. Apparently, I don’t fit that profile because I am rarely bothered for more than a few seconds after I explain that I can barely afford to put gas in my car! The other thing you need to watch out for at this location is credit card/ATM card fraud. The pumps are all newer with video monitors on top. I find them annoying, but I suppose some people enjoy them. Check the pumps carefully to ensure the various seals are properly affixed and not damaged. From personal experience, I can tell you that fraud is a problem. Someone compromised our card and got away with $ 1,000 in diesel before the credit card company alerted us to the fraud. Shell has an agreement with Ralph’s supermarket chain allowing you to use Ralph’s Reward points to save a dime on each gallon you pump for 100 Rewards points. You get one point for every buck you spend at Ralphs, so you have to spend $ 100 to get enough to use for one fill up. But the points are free and if you are filling up a 20 gallon tank, you can save $ 2.00 on a fill up. Not much, but it’s something.
