Revamped the store and has excellent deals. Very close to home and I forgot to check in so I guess I get to put in a review instead. I tried to check in because it seriously is less than a mile from me but dang if Unilocal denied me. I have all the stuff I need now to try and make my own caramel frappuccinos because Starbucks is on my naughty list for raising their prices. They suck!

I think 2 is deserved for this place. Every employee (4out of 5 that I came in contact with) was rude and short with me. No smiles No excuse me as we round the corner and almost hit each other. The only friendly employee was #5 Aracell who rung me up at the register. Thinking I’m going to start shopping at the one on Madison St.

It is probably more like 3 ½ stars but I didn’t want to knock them all the way down to three, so four it is. Every time I’m in there the store seems to be pretty well-​kept and clean and everything is pretty well organized.
Most prices are decent and I have recently started using their brand First Street for a lot of products such as dishwashing detergent and plastic baggies. The First Street brand of baggies is comparable to the Ziploc I used to buy from Costco but a better deal.
However, be sure you know your pricing on items such as produce because I did notice they were higher than even Vons on things like mushrooms.

I like this store, prices are not always the best but they at least have items stocked well.
The only issue I had was that I left my credit card by mistake. I called immediately and a woman employee said, «Yea we got it.» I told her I was on my way to pick it up. I rushed back to the store within a half an hour. The manager on duty, a man, had issues finding the card which really worried me. After checking the side of all the registers and the managers office he told me they didn’t have it. I told him to check again because I called and the woman on the phone read my name off the card so I knew they had it. After he thought about it, he went over to a woman stocking an end cap. She pulled her cellphone and my debit card out of her POCKET. Handed him the card and he handed it to me without making sure it was actually mine. Kind of scary.

I went in this location to buy some supplies for an event. This smaller location has mostly the old school restaurant supply stuff which was exactly what I wanted. The staff were all extremely helpful. The prices were great. They had stuff I couldn’t find elsewhere. Cheers to the staff and to S&F.

I was hoping to find a particular item (Calypso Lemonade) at this Smart & Final. I checked the website and it specified that this Smart & Final had it. I went to see if they had it, but was disappointed in the layout of the store, prices, and I couldn’t find my item. The only upside is that the Wal-​Mart down Tyler had the item.

I’ve started coming here in an effort to replacement my Costco membership. While they don’t offer as much, the prices are still competitive on the necessities so I haven’t needed to renew my Costco card. However, on the 16th, I purchased a case of greek yogurt. I get home, open it up and it EXPIRED on the 9th! That’s just gross, not to mention against the law. I returned the product and instead of a sincere apology or being mortified by the lapse in quality control, he simply processed the credit and offer a casual ‘sorry.’ I will definitely choose my food more carefully since I can’t trust their inventory rotation.

Watch what you purchase here. I bought a 2 pack of bacon that had just 1 fresh package, the other was brown and rancid. Apparently they had done some creative repackaging. I won’t buy fresh meat here… and after today, no cottage cheese (despite what the expiration date says).
Guess I’ll stick to Costco

A Lil on the smaller side of other Smart & Finals I have been to but the low prices will have me back every time. I can’t hardly believe they sell 10 packs of Garden Burger veggies patties for $ 10. Amazing. The juices/​drinks are great prices. Even the alcohol!

Their granola bars and cereal have saved my life many a hungry morning. Don’t get the fruit… It’s always too hard or dry. They always have a huge variety of cleaning products… Now if only I didn’t have to be the one to use them at home.
