The apartments in general are beautiful and the manager is great, but we had issues with the a/c twice during the summer and now it’s winter time and the heater is broken. The guys fixed it in a reasonable time, but for the price of this place, there should be constant maintenance on the equipment. I have a 5 month old son and we are leaving as soon as we can after the lease is up in January. It’s too expensive.

The Aspens is a great place to Live and the Staff is very helpful. The Grounds and Maintenance Crew is top notch. See for yourself.

Had the ac guy come out twice I’m sure the huge patio window has something to do with my one bedroom apartment stay at 80 even those the ac is set at 77 and the ac is on all freaking day I should be paying 150 electric bill for a little apartment the windows and wall are thin you barely close the door an the whole apartment shakes gardening is loud every day all day long don’t get me wrong the apartments look beautiful until you live they for more than a year you notice how bad the pond smells and how annoying the trees are so many spiders I can’t keep up with all the webs and they don’t have washing machines in the apartment even those rent is 1200 – 1300! It’s 3 dollars to wash and dry one load of laundry and your clothes don’t even smell clean!

I lived there for several years. After the renovations to the high school the field is used constantly and it is just noisy from the sporting events and graduations. What I hated most were all the damn smokers. Easily half of the tenants there are smokers. At one point I had 6 smoking tenants who lived in my building and near by. Not one day went by I that I didn’t smell it or walk into their clouds of cigarette smoke as I walked to and from my apartment. It was just disgusting! I had to close my doors and windows to keep the smell and second hand smoke out of my apartment. And the windows in the bedrooms are old and paper thin and you can hear everything even. Most notably the annoying leaf blower for hours everyday The owners will not replace the old carpet or the crappy 1970’s tile in the kitchen or bathroom. They only do upgrades when people move out. One good thing is that they finally got rid of the creepy landscaper Alejandro who would leer at all the women. Also Patty the manager is very nice and friendly. For the money I paid for a one bedroom apartment from the 1970’s($ 1,100) it was too expensive.

This is the only apartment complex I would ever live in. The manager, Patty, genuinely cares about every tenant and wants you to be right at home. She has gone above and beyond to accommodate myself and my daughter. Vanessa, the assistant, is just as sweet. I could go and talk to either of them about anything. The view of the trees out of my window is so serene. The koi fish ponds are so calming. I moved from a large house in Long Beach, and I feel way more comfortable here. Thank you :)
