Yeah, but the older crowd clears out about 900 and then it’s a pretty young, fun group. It’s historic and a true neighborhood bar. Love love love it. Jeremy and Anthony 2 of the best bartenders in Riverside

Worst service ever! Went for Tacos– we understand they are busy and there is a wait list– but they were seating people who weren’t on the list and people who came after us wrote their name on page one and got seated while we were listed on page 2. Horrible service for wait listing. Place is run down and needs an upgrade with as much business as they do they can afford it

Beer was cold. Only good thing. No tap. No wings. No fryer. No one under 60 except us but now we know. I changed my star rating to one because I got terribly sick after having a chilli dog and two drinks.

Came here for prime rib night a while back, it was delicious! It’s really a good place to hang out and grab a drink while catching up with old friends. I really liked the prime rib and their food. Also, I like how they have outdoor seating!

Driving down Magnolia, the big neon sign of the horseshoe with the name The Sire was how it caught my attention. The sign was all I needed to convince me to stop and eat here with my girlfriend. I was expecting it to be a cool throwback vintage bar. It still has that vibe but more of a dive bar, which is not bad. We came here on a Saturday night and it wasn’t too crowded. We both had a burger which was good and a few beers. The staff was very friendly here and service was quick. It’s a great spot in Riverside to come chill, enjoy a few beers and relax. Definitely recommend this place to anyone else who wondered about it when they saw cool neon sign.

Cozy, comfy, dark(the way I like my classic cocktail-&-steakhouses), affordable, and with friendly service every time I’ve gone. The food is great, the drinks are generous, and you gotta love the nightly specials. One of my all-time favorite local spots.

Been a patron of this place for decades and have enjoyed the service of the talented bartenders. Sad to report that there is a formerly lovely server who has been there for years and is on an obvious psychological decline. Had to walk out when she began her shift and started loudly discussing gross details of her boob job and complications while people were eating. Often seen in there completely plastered on her off days. It’s a good place to go if this one is not working. It’s bearable when she is moody and giving everyone the silent treatment, but when the toilet mouth starts running it is not impressive. Other than that, good food, nice patrons, and depending on the bartender, good guy drink prices.

Recently moved to the area and since we’re getting older(but still like to party), this dive bar is by far our favorite low-key spot. Close to home, GREAT drinks, GREAT food, GREAT jukebox music continuously playing. The service is great if you go up to the bar tender and wait for your drinks, but otherwise the service is just ok. We are now regulars for the past several months, and I hope the service improves. We have a great time at the Sire and wouldn’t want us to ever have any negative vibes.

Best bang for your buck, they had me sold with Taco Wednesday. Great music, good beer at a good price, friendly staff, awesome tunes… what more could ask from your neighborhood dive bar(I’m totally a sucker for drives, btw)?!

Took my daughter there for dinner, we had prime rib, baked potato, salad and shrimp cocktail, drinks, the food was deliscious, the service was great and we will be going back soon! Small inside seating area, but the outside patio is comfortable.

Best taco value in town! 75 cent tacos on Wednesday. Full size tortilla, fried with a really good portion of seasoned ground beef, lettuce, cheese and tomato. Salsa has a kick to it, which I prefer. Can get very crowded and you may have to add your name to a waiting list, but it’s not too long a wait. Grab a drink and stand in the bar or outside on the patio until you’re called. Well worth the wait for surprisingly decent tacos.

Super cool old school dive bar with wall to wall carpet and walls that have seen a cigarette or two. The drinks are cheap and well made and the food is pretty good too if you are hungry. They have a jukebox also if you are in the mood to pick your own music. Nice place to spend an evening and go into the morning without even knowing it.

The key to enjoying the Sire is appropriately setting your expectations. Want a craft beer and a fresh salad with micro — greens and free –range goat cheese? Keep walking. The Sire is for a cheap, friendly American Bar hang. Bring friends, plan to spend $ 30 on 6 drinks and sing Journey. Loudly.

Place is cheap but all is all that I have to say that is good. Ordered corn beef & cabbage(the special) and 45 min later the order had not arrived. I paid for the drinks and split. Probably will go out of business when the old crowd dies off. Oh well…

Came here a while back and was very dissatisfied. This place caters to regulars but does not seem to care about people they don’t know. The people known by name just received overall better service. We came in the evening and I ordered the prime rib. An hour later our waitress came by and said she forgot to put our order in… An hour later. Our server was an older blonde woman. So we wait for our food and when it finally does come out it is overcooked(very bad with prime rib) and unbelievably, it is cold. Would never come here again. If the schtick is surly attitude, great but please apply it evenly and don’t just make new customers feel like they don’t matter. First time I ever felt compelled to leave a one cent tip.

Love this place. Most importantly, a good strong drink for cheap! Came here for shots and beers with friends. Best divey bar ever. The food is good too, I only wish they had fries!

Sire is a Dark little Dive Bar that serves food. They are stocked with a Full bar and the drinks are well made. They have a juke box to play your favorite tunes(cash and coins only). The menu items are low-priced, with only few selections to choose from. We ordered the Reuben, it came with a small bag of Lays potato chips and a bit dehydrated pickle. We also tried their soup of the day which was Split Pea, they were both OK. We happen to be in the area, and looking for a place to hang out. We were really there to just have a few drinks, so the food worked to balance the drinking. They have a patio area as well. When we were there, it was definitely an older and not very diverse local crowd. The drinks were good, the service was nice, and the Dark Divey feel was alright.
