Tijuana’s Tacos

I ordered 2 tacos 1 asada 1 pastor and a quesodilla, I expected the tacos to be small like a street taco and they were but they were stuffed with a lot of meat so was the quesodilla, so you get a lot for the money. Down side of it, tables were dirty I had to clean my own, and the asada meat has no flavor at all they use cheap chopped up round steak with no seasoning, the pastor was just ok more flavor then the so called asada.

My wife and I came to this taco spot to avoid the heat from cooking the food at our house. The food tasted great and the cashier claudia was real helpful. We’ll be back soon don’t forget to ask for free grilled chile’s and onions.

I have been to three of their locations; Ontario, Pomona and Riverside. Across the board, all three locations had the same quality of food that tastes great! The Riverside and Ontario locations had a clean kitchen from what I could tell. Unfortunately I didn’t see the kitchen at the Pomona location as my husband ordered for me.
I went to the Pomona location on a Thursday night about 10:30 pm and there was a line out the door. Seating was minimal in comparison to the other two locations. Seating was mostly outside with a few tables. The inside dining was very small and crowded. The salsa bar was messy but what would you expect with the line out the door. It was clean enough given the busyness of that location. The food was so good that I took my friend who was visiting from out of town to try the Riverside location.
The Riverside location was very clean and had the same great food. At the time of my visit, they weren’t as busy as the Pomona location but we just missed the lunch rush. It was about 1:30 pm on a Monday. The thing that set this location apart from the other two was the hospitality. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and treated us like family. It seemed as though the lady that was cashiering had a genuine interest to get to know us. It made me and my friend feel like we were a part of their family. We both left there saying «Wow! That is one of the best experiences I have ever had at a restaurant». They had plenty of indoor seating at this location.
The Ontario location is close to home and has great food as well. It was clean with plenty of indoor seating. This location was not very busy at 9 pm on a Tuesday night.

Tacos are full of flavor! They put tons of meat, which is always a good thing. The service is amazing, very helpful and patient with newbies. Ask for Claudia, she’ll lay down the top picks here. It looks like they remodeled, I like it. It looks great and very clean.

My favorite place for tacos & Mexican food! The cashier and all the workers are extreme nice. We always come back to this location. Love the free beans too! And I was really happy to see that they remodeled the place. The place is really clean and a lot or tables to sit at. I’ll continue to come back with my family. Thank you TJ tacos!

I used to go to the location in Pomona off of Holt but this location is much cleaner and friendlier!
It’s located off of Arlington/​Van Buren in a shopping center with a few small businesses.
You’ll find it in the corner facing Arlington.
When I walked in I was immediately greeted by Claudia who was cleaning the counter and making sure the salsas were well stocked. All the tables were clean and the floor was spotless with no straw wrappers. The tv was tuned to a soccer game so you’ll never miss a thing: P
When time to order came, Claudia explained what the quesotaco was (genius!) and named the flavors of agua frescas available. Take your pick from Jamaica, piña, horchata, melon, and Sandia.
Make sure to ask for a cup for the frijoles! :)

Tacos are good service not good from the cashier the person in the kitchen took our order will the other two ladies were in their gossip in the back. Then I had to yell to the girls that were in the back with their gossip so that I can get my drinks. Please if you have a business be professional and welcome your customers and those 2 girls be professional and keep your gossip for some other time.

I did not like the sincronizada but just because I’m picky and I don’t like ketchup on some of my food and I didn’t hear her say that it came with that.
But the Chile taco is bomb.

You would think that since you come in early morning that the place would be clean, mopped, and ready to go. I get here and the floor is dirty disgusting, customer service from cashier is down the gutter she just has the worst attitude ever, like seriously this place might have good tacos but the maintenance of this place makes me question how filthy the kitchen must be.

Hands down the worst tacos I’ve ever had. I’m not from the riverside area (from the LA/​OC area) and was looking for some tacos to eat while out here exploring. The customer service was ok. The person at the cash wrap was being sassy with one of the cooks while taking our order. The horchata was pretty decent, and the best was their beans. The tacos themselves were terrible! The meat was super dry; my friend actually got extra stuff like arteries in his tacos. I was super hungry, ordered 4 tacos, and I only managed to eat 2 because they were just so disappointing. I see other people’s reviews for this place claiming it’s the best, but I saw none of that today. Hands down this is going into the books as the worst taco place I’ve ever been to.

Great service + great food = happy customer
1 taco costs 1.79 $. Have variety types of meat. Open salsa bar with at least 5 different types available. Limes, beans, and radishes are also self server.
Carne Asada is recommended, it was so good j wish I ordered more. Also got piña agua fresca, it was really light and refreshing. B
Pricing wasnt too expensive nor inexpensive but for sure food is worth the $$.

This is hands down my favorite taco spot in Riverside. Never had bad food here. I hadn’t been in a while since I was living out of town but on my most recent visit, I noticed they had done some remodeling. Place looks great now. They added some specialty tacos too which are delicious. Haven’t found a better taco spot yet!

Horrible service, crummy atmosphere, but really good food. Been coming here for a few years now and just recently I’ve noticed that the service has gone way downhill. Missing items/​wrong orders and getting skipped when making your food sometimes you have to go up and remind them. Good rice/​beans and food in general is good.

Worst place to go eat the customer service is the worst the cashiers are always in a bad mood or talking and get mad when you ask them for something I got sick from eating their food so I contacted the health department and they did go check and the place was a mess so they told them to do general cleaning and what was worst they found everyone working without food handlers cards so plz people don’t go eat there I contacted the manager and they don’t care about the customers so once again don’t go eat there plz

Horrible torta. HORRIBLE! They basically put a piece of pineapple and ham into two buns and that was a Hawaiian torta to them. SMH!

Go here if you’re willing to sacrifice cleanliness and good service for good tacos. The two stars is for the overall experience, but if you just want tacos I’d recommend them, just take them to go.

bad food, carne asada sin sabor, tortillas más malas que nada (bien de bolsa) servicio está bien. pero la comida. nada que ver, recomiendo mejor. comer cereal en la casa.

I think the intention was good of having the place remodeled however the place needs to be maintained. Dirty tables upon arriving to eat, rude customer service, salsa bar not up to par at all and poor choice of background music for a family environment; Drake & other hip hop music.
The food wasn’t that great either, the asada and pastor meats were tough and too greasy for my taste… not the Tijuana Tacos I use to eat at… disappointing…

La comida esta buena los nopales, los frijoles, las cebollas etcétera; pero el problema es las meseras algunas son muy simples necesita ponerlas a trabajar cuando están solas no hacen las cosas bien

Hole in the wall place. My coworker introduced me and after trying their tacos, I wanna bring my boyfriend next time that I go! I recommend it. The location isn’t all that great nor does it look very appealing inside but let me tell you… Their tacos are amazing! They also give you complimentary grilled onions and grilled jalapeño peppers. Yum. I’ve only tried the small tacos (carne asada and al pastor) but they were awesome. Will definitely be back!

Pretty good taco place. I had the queso tacos with grilled onions and nopales on top. So yum. The grilled onions and Chile’s are free as well as free beans. Kids loved there sope and quesadillas too.

Tijuana’s Tacos is one of the top 5 places to get some real, authentic, cheap, filling and amazing tasting Mexican food!
I am obsessed with their spit roasted al pastor, the menu is so extensive, I usually get a ton of different tacos and fill them up with the tasty salsas they offer, as well as pickled veggies and the best part is the grilled veggies they give you with every order!
It takes your meal to a whole other level!
SO darn good, open early and late, its a dump here, but you get past that as soon as you have that first bite of al pastor, too good!!!
