Wiley’s Scuba Locker

The Scuba Locker is a great place to learn to dive, my basic was 3 years ago and I received quality training and the certification dives were beautiful. Have taken an advance class through Sports Chalet (It fit in my busy schedule) and it was kind of disappointing from the dive sites to the instructor. I did not trust him, he was rude and longer works there. The instructors at Wiley’s have been there for a long time and they set the training bar high. No comparison, they are very skilled and knowledgeable (Handsome ones too). Learned «tricks of the trade» that helped throughout the process of practicing the skills that are taught while logging my dives to become a seasoned diver. Tony also gives a class on equipment field repair and have used those learned skills all the time from cleaning my equipment to light repairs while diving.
I bought my dive gear through Tony, the owner, not knowing what I should buy and am very satisfied with the quality. When I dive, other divers always comment on my gear and how good it is. I guess I have really good stuff. Thanks Tony! He personally services my equipment annually and I trust him with it. Always ready to go in a short amount of time. On a side note… had a friend who serviced her gear at Sport Chalet, they shipped it out for service and when it came back, her regulator still had problems. Again, shipped it out for service.

I took my Boy Scout Troop here to try it out to see if they wanted to get certified. They people here are very knowledgeable and friendly. They had a lot of patience with the kids and answered all the questions they had. The kids had such a great time at the pool that we are gonna try to get their SCUBA merit badges.

Always helpful in making diving a fun experience. Service prices are very reasonable. I always leave confident in my equipment being serviced with care and expertise. I have used them for several years and will always return.

Wiley has a good heart, but he is your typical sales man – he wants to sell you only what he wants, but not what you’re looking for. Also, although having tons of experience, he doesn’t really help with making useful suggestions.

Tony is an honest and friendly shop owner who really cares about his clients. My wife and I purchased our equipment from him and went on a week long diving trip with him and his crew in the Bahamas this summer. We were new to diving, and Tony made sure all along the way that we were comfortable, personally taking us on new types of dives (night dive, wall dive) when the dive master wasn’t available to help.
