Winchester Park Apts

This place is great! The neighbors and staff here are friendly. It’s set in a beautiful location and includes onsite laundry, playground, pool, tennis court and dog park. They are also expanding. I can’t wait to see the improvements. No complaints here.

I sold my home and decided to rent an apartment. After a long search, I decided on Winchester Park which has a very convenient location for me. One of my best decisions ever! I moved in almost a month ago. The apartment was painted throughout and new carpet installed before I moved in. Everything is fresh. I never hear my neighbors, so the insulation is excellent. I am delighted with my apartment, the staff, and the excellent maintenance! There were a few minor problems that, with the superior maintenance, were corrected promptly, at my convenience. I plan on writing a review every 6 months or so. I expect to continue to provide positive reviews. When I was looking at apartments to rent, I found the reviews extremely helpful — and I relied on the recent reviews.

I and my wife lived at Winchester park for about 4 months before my job had me move away to another state. We enjoyed our stay here. I agree to a lot of the comments here that the place was creaky and noisy and you could hear your neighbors. For hearing the neighbors, where does it not happen? My current apartment is the first ever I have been at where you don’t hear anyone. But apart from those two little issues, I think Winchester Park was pretty much flawless. There was sufficient parking. It was in a very safe area. Maintenance, office staff and services were outstanding and extremely prompt. I would rate this place excellent and would definitely not hesitate in living there again if need be.

Lived here for about 2 years. The rent was a bit high the first year, then they increased it about 10% the following year. When we moved out, there was a small stained/​torn patch of carpet from the cat. They kept our pet deposit, our $ 450 original deposit, and tried to bill us for an additional $ 900. Completely unacceptable. The pool is very busy on nice days and otherwise cold (it’s not heated). The exercise facility is great at off hours, but there are very few machines, so if it’s at all busy, you’re out of luck. Terrible walk score and transit score. And during the winter they failed to plow us out in a timely manner. Look elsewhere.
