I dont get these other reviews. What the heck do you expect? Sending food back!!! That’s ridiculous! This is a fun little spot with good breakfast and a friendly atmosphere. Why the heck are you ordering steak for dinner!!! I have had breakfast and dinner here and I can say that the breakfast is great and the sandwiches for dinner are good too. Like you people giving this place one star because your steak wasn’t done right. Give me a break. Go to Ruth Chris or butcher and singer for a steak. Jese. Complainers!

Not a bad little local spot to have an enjoyable and affordable bite to eat. Have done both breakfast and lunch and enjoyed the food. The only stumble is you must often remind the waiter/waitress to bring certain things because the have a tendency to forget because they get so busy.

Although I live very close to the Breakfast Nook, this is only the second time here. First time it was under different management. Not sure why because prices are good and the food tastes great. Stopped in for a quick lunch with some family members. Our order was taken in a timely manner and the food came out quickly. I chose the cheesesteak @$ 6.00 which in this area is a great price. Came with chips and pickle slices. Food was good. This place has a loyal following of customers as you can see by the packed parking lot everyday. I will definitely be coming back again. 5 adults for under $ 50 including tip.

Stopped in here for breakfast with my daughter. To say the least, the nook needs to hire 3 to 4 more waitresses for breakfast. Waitresses’ skirts should only be just above the knee for a professional appearance, not the appearance of hoping to hook up with somebody. We sat down and waited, waited, waited, Pam. Finally the waitress came to our table. She was out of breath. She took our order and Pam, we waited, waited, and waited. When we were finished we were hoping to see the waitress to request the check. Our waitress was nowhere to be found. We wasted so much time in there. Never again for me. After reading some of the other reviews on dinner experiences, will not be there for dinner either, ever. Very very unprofessional. I can only imagine what goes on in the kitchen.

After having had breakfast here many times I convinced my family that we should have dinner there. «What do you know about their dinners»? my sister said. I said their dinner specials always look appealing and good prices and since they expanded they must have a good following of customers. Convinced four others to go. What a mistake or maybe not because we have laughs that you couldn’t get from a comedy act. 1). Caesar salad — you will basically get a garden salad. 2). Soup — delivered with waiters thumbs on the rim of the cup. 3). Steak — asked for medium and received well done. 4). Stuffed pork chop special with side of penne ala vodka– received a pork chop with a whole in the center and a plop of stuffing beneath the pork chop, nothing stuffed and a smathering of onions all of which had no taste and the presentation was awful. The penne ala vodka was a bowl of penne with such a minimal amount of red sauce, clearly not ala vodka, and was drier than dry. 5). Carbonara pasta with a side of chicken cutlet — what came out is indescribable. A soupy concoction with a grilled or boiled chicken. Mentioned to waitress that steak was over cooked, and returning the pasta and pork chop meals and did not want any replacements. A while later a man comes over and says, yeah somebody has a medium steak over here. And what’s the other problem? My daughter told him what was in front of her was not carbonara pasta. He said«yes it is that’s how is». She could only respond with«I have had it many times and never had it soupy». He turned and walked away without aa much as a simple apology. I asked the waitress if he was the owner and was told he was the cook. We will not be returning for breakfast ever again either. This rude person had the scruffiest appearance and seemed as though he hadn’t bathed in days. What a poor representation for your business, Pam. The replacement steak came out mooing. Asked for takeout containers for the steak and kids pasta and meatballs. The waitress returned with the check. Steak was half price, soda was on them but cook refused to take the cost of the pork chop meal off of the bill. I told waitress I was not paying for pork chop and she burst into tears. Clearly, the«cook» must have given her a hard time about the check and she was afraid to go talk to him again. I went to register to speak with him and he came out saying, never mind, it’s on us and sorry. After seeing the looks of the cook, we did not even want to take leftovers home and left everything. We have never had such a memorable meal, or lack thereof, in all of our lives. A group of seniors were sitting near us. One commented after the man left our table, «is he the cook»?? Probably with the same disgust we were feeling.

They just expanded to include lunch and dinner; I haven’t tried those. As for breakfast — food is ok. Nothing stupendous. Basic homestyle breakfast omelets, nothing fancy.

«Not just breakfast NOOK» delicious lunch wraps and now serving dinner. Long time customer thrilled with new management. Delicious food, good service(not sure why others have listed some trouble-but, nobody’s perfect) EXPANDED dining room, now takes cards. Their breakfast sandwiches are delicious AND very reasonable! Crazy clean and bright, not like old paneled places. Great place to meet and chat, never rushed, always offered refills. LOVE the nook!

This place really suprised me. It is a little gem tucked away in Cinnaminson. My girlfriend and I went there for breakfast and sat at the bar. The place was constantly full of people. And even though it was so busy the food came out at a good speed. I got the pork roll egg and cheese sandwich. It was awesome. Great prices too

This place is definitely off then beaten path. Unless you wander the other side of River road you are more likely to pass by it. Inside the place is rather small but they do there best to accommodate larger groups.(They pushed two tables together for a group of 8 that were behind us this morning.) The place can get loud with everyone talking but you can still hear everyone around you easily. Now the service was good, the waitress was friendly enough. However it seemed they lacked a little communication in the back. Our hostess got us drinks and our waitress came over to ask us what got instead of asking her. Other then that everything else went smoothly. The food came out quickly and tasted good. My only complaint as far as food is the hash-browns were a bit under cooked. Pricing was reasonable. The only thing that took my off guard was when I went up to pay I handed her my card and she automatically asked me how much I would like to leave the waitress. Most of the time they hand you a receipt to sign and you can put it on there. Overall the place was great and I will definitely add it to my breakfast list for future visits!

Only ate here once. So take my advice with a grain of salt. But, this place is what it is. It’s a breakfast/lunch, no-frills kinda place. There is nothing original or creative on their menu, just traditional American breakfast and lunch. I’m surprised by the bad service complaints on here. Maybe they’ve ironed those issues out? We had a very nice and attentive waitress. The coffee was fresh and perfect. The omelets were great and nice sized(3 eggs at least) White, Wheat and Rye toast, toasted perfectly. Props for the variety of jellies at the table. Best part was the hash browns. Diced ½″ cube style, absolutely perfect! I will make sure to visit here more often. My only complaint is that today was my first visit.

We just moved here a few months ago. The Breakfast Nook is across the street so it’s convenient. However, the first time we went there, our waitress was so rude. She gave me a hard time about ordering what I wanted to order. I wanted to substitute one thing for another and was willing to pay whatever extra it would have been, but she told me it wasn’t possible because that’s not how the meal was in the menu. Then, the food wasn’t even that good. I chalked the whole thing up to maybe the waitress was just having a bad day. We went back again this morning. Different waitress, same attitude. I feel like everyone in there looks at you like you have nerve walking in. This waitress let me substitute(which I was told the first time was never possible) but I couldn’t help but feel like I was getting attitude for wanting what I wanted. All in all the food is pretty horrible and apparently every waitress has a nasty attitude. We will never go back there and will never suggest it to any of our friends in the area.

Service was quick without issue. The place was clean and nice. I didn’t think the prices were high at all. I would say they are comparable to other restaurants in the area. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because we didn’t feel there was anything special about the breakfast. It wasn’t bad at all, but no added flavor. Just a typical breakfast.

Ok I have to update my prior review which was a 4 star. Since its close to home my family and I go here about once a month for our Sunday morning breakfast. Don’t get me wrong the food is good. Just what you would expect from a Jersey luncheonette but the wait staff… Yikes. Here are a few of our experiences-Up till now its been little things, bringing the wrong drink, asking for sometime like additional cream or a glass of water then and the waitress never bringing them etc. 2 mos ago we went in, placed our order and waited for our food. We were sitting at the counter so could see when food is placed on the counter for pick up. We were there early so the restaurant was less then half full. I saw our order be put under the hot lamp for pick up. And it sat there, and sat there and sat there. Our waitress had disappeared. Finally about 15 min later she resurfaced and still didn’t bring us our order. Meanwhile other waitresses were picking up up their orders. Finally we got our food which by then was cold. Cold eggs over easy are gross to say the least. So we waited a few months and decided to give it a try again. Today we sat down, ordered our food and she brougnt our drinks. Then nothing. Never came back. People came in after us, ordered, ate and still nothing. The waitress never came back to our table. The people next to us even commented on it. We got up and walked out 25 min after we got our drinks. I think it safe to say the Nook is off our list of eateries.

We have lived across the street for over 3 years. This morning was probably only the 4th time we have visited the nook. Its a great place for breakfast. I had the western omelet. My wife had blueberry pancakes. Wait staff were very nice and professional. It’s a little pricey but All in all it’s a good place to visit.

The pancakes and bacon were delicious. This place is like the little old fashioned family place to eat breakfast or lunch at reasonable prices.

Don’t let the location of the Breakfast Nook fool you! It’s located on the ground floor of what appears to be a warehouse type building and it’s just across the street from the Cinnaminson RiverLine stop. There are always a lot of cars there and so my husband and I decided we needed to check the place out. It’s now one of our favorite places to go for breakfast! It reminds me of a small Jersey diner with a super friendly wait staff. They only have a few booths along one wall and the rest is all tables or you can sit at the counter. They have several breakfast specials and my favorite thing to get there are their waffles! So good and just crispy enough! If only they had real maple syrup to go with it! Be sure to bring cash with you because they don’t accept credit cards or checks!
