If you are in the mood for some really cheap semi-authentic Mexican food to fill your belly this is probably it. I want to be clear that this is not the best Mexican food you will ever eat, it is however cheap for the amount of food you get. For around $ 5-$ 6 bucks you can get a burrito that will satisfy all, but the extremely hungry. When my dad is in town from Kentucky we usually stop by here for a breakfast burrito. I prefer the steak and egg, but the California or chorizo burritos are also very good. The chimichanga is also pretty good. I think the carne asada is probably the best thing on the menu, either in the burrito or chimichanga.

Food Is good but beware the price in menu board and what they charge you are very different. I have been overcharged more than once and because of that will not return.

Great food. I’ve had lots of different tacos here and like them all. I think carne asada are the best. I’m kind of too snobby for rolled tacos mostly these days, but Gualberto’s knows how to make them super tasty. Lots of menu items and new things to try here. Nice people run the place. It’s a low roofed building that looks almost dodgy, but it’s clean inside and has lots of seating. The front of the restaurant gets pretty hot in the summer, sit around the side. Good prices. TVs playing futbol all the time.

No frills Mexican Food that doesn’t disappoint. This is not a place that has a lot to offer in terms of locale but don’t be scared of the run down look, the food is great. I had a Carne Asada Burritto that was very tasty. Nothing fancy here, just steak, guacamole, and pico de gallo. If you want to mix it up then squeeze some fresh lime juice on each bite.

Just like home in California. Great hole in the wall sort of place. Very tasty. I highly recommend their carne asada

Always a great option for a late night meal. I work late and usually am hungry on my way home, so this is a perfect spot to stop. More often than not I order the California Burrito. They’re prep is good and the food is always tasty. No complaints at all.

I ordered the chorizo platter and most of it was good but I can’t remember if I have ever eaten rice with corn, peas and carrots in it. It was more like a Chinese rice. The price seemed kind of high. And the price of the bean and cheese burritos was outrageous. Over 4.00!!! Not sure if I will return.

Not bad at all. Food always seems to be cooked fresh. We’ve eaten here quite a bit. The super nachos has a ton of steak and all the fixins. The chorizo and egg plate always hits. The breakfast burritos are always bomb! Chimichanga madness! It’s so good !! Lots of good stuff and always super cheap.

Here last night for the first time, and impressed. An old building on a corner, it could use some updating. But, if you’re not an ambiance snob and just want some good Mexican food from very friendly staff at good prices in incredibly fast time… this is the place! Clean restrooms are always big in my book, and they are clean. I had a fish taco combo plate. Hubby had the chip, cheese, guac, and salsa plate. He really enjoyed it. They gave him a nice little tub of salsa to go with it. He still had half of it left and brought it home. We’ll visit again.

Always love this place. The carne asada fries are delicious, drunk or sober. It’s the guacamole that makes it. I typically order the California burrito and it’s always spot on. They’re always prompt too. One of the best«betos» in the valley.

I’m from California and I came to Utah to visit relatives. I decided to come and get a quick meal at Gualbertos and it’s truly my favorite place to get Mexican food(even though I’m from California). The people who work there are really helpful and nice. I’m definitely coming back! So if you ever go there be sure to try the shrimp with chipotle sauce it’s the best!!!

When all the Taco Bell crazies have already dozed off into a crunchwrap induced coma but you are still awake and hankering for fifth meal, where are you to go? Gualbertos of course! This 24 hour Mexican food joint is a godsend to us late nighters with a big appetite. They offer huge portions of fantastically greasy Mexican food which is often just what I need. And the menu is quite large with so many options. I usually just pick a random combo number because no matter what I get here I am happy. Sure its not the nicest cleanest place, but it is a divey 24 hour Mexican joint. it’s not supposed to be immaculate. I’m not even mad that this area doesn’t have more 24 restaurants because this one is all I need.

Huge portions. Good prices. Delicious food. Salsa bar. Fast service. Could be a bit cleanlier.
