Late on a hot Friday afternoon, my RV air conditioner quit. I called D&L. The owner answered as he was sitting down to supper. I had just set up my 30′ bumper-pull RV trailer so I could begin my 6 months working in Florida. Away from my home in Kansas I had no tools, no expertise, and no idea who to call. A quick Google search produced one of the best service experiences of my life. The owner offered to drop what he was doing and drive the 55 miles out to me through rush hour traffic, but he suggested we try some simple diagnostics first. With patience and genuine concern for my predicament, he waked me through a number of checks over the phone leading to the fact the main breaker on the camp power box had tripped. It is old and no longer carries the 30 amps. Turns out the RV water heater plus the AC was enough to trip it. I reset it and am getting it replaced. He did all this for free on a Friday night after a long hard day, watching his supper get cold for a complete stranger. If you’ve read this far, you know what to do. Stop looking and call D&L. They have restored my faith in humanity.
