No frills, bare bones place. But totally legit cuban sandwich.
There’s really not much else to say here — very good food, decent prices. The menu is a little squirrely to read, but if you don’t see your Cubano favorite, just ask.

Not too impressed. Went for lunch. They didn’t have the soup I wanted. so sbe recommended some bean soup. It was terrible. seemed like canned soup w the some greens thrown in. Sbe recommended potato balls stuffed w pork. Um, not quite. The empanada was good though. Whole lot of fried food and carbs. Probably won’t return.

Stopped in for my first visit but they were closed for the Cuban sandwich festival. I understand their desire to showcase their product to a large audience especially if they are a small family operation. Guess I will need to wait another day to taste what others have claimed to enjoy. I will be back!

Pretty yummy Cuban. Beef empanada was delicious. Inside was very clean, hot case looked stocked with delicious food.
Good thing about the empanada was that it was cooked fresh and not sitting in a hot case waiting for me.

Only eat here if you love delicious, authentic, cheap Cuban cuisine in large potions. Got the croquettes, and deviled crab and both were superb. Hole in the wall for sure.

Great food, great service & nice casual vibe.
I went at lunch and ordered the roast pork, plantains, white rice & black beans to go. The pork was absolutely delicious!!! The rice and beans was very good and the plantains were excellent. Before I ate these I thought I didn’t like them at all. I just hadn’t had them prepared like this before. I am definitely taking my husband back. The meal was very affordable and the portions were huge. I had enough for lunch and leftovers for dinner.
The service was quick and friendly and it didn’t take long at all to get my order.

Wanted to try this new local Cuban place which had great reviews. I ordered a Cuban sandwich and a kids chicken nugget and fries which was advertised as «Italian style breaded chicken strips». Starting with the Cuban, it was good, but not great. I did try a sample of the roast pork while waiting for my order, which was amazing and also I was told this was on the sandwich but I didn’t get that «amazing» taste with the Cuban. The kids meal was completely disappointing. I had these items in my freezer & would not have paid to order out. They were regular ol’ frozen chicken nuggets and crinkle cut fries which were not good. I would imagine having the pork over some rice would be pretty good so I may try again but I was a little disappointed.

Excellent Cuban food and friendly service. If you are just getting a sandwich, very convenient, affordably priced and delicious. If you are getting an entrée, it will take a little more time, but it is worth it.

Great new place with delicious Cuban sandwiches. The sandwich was huge and only $ 6. I’ll definitely go back and try some of the specials. Highly recommend the stuffed potato.

Had a GREAT Cuban sandwich at Papi’s today. Big enough for my husband and I to share! Service was great. The owner, Nelson, introduced himself and made me try several different samples which were all delicious! So excited to have another local independent restaurant near Fishhawk! Will definitely be back with the whole family!
