Customer service is horrible. I have been here a few times when they first opened this location and now I wished I would of read the reviews regarding the new owners. The service was horrible. Definitely would not return. How do you advertise something on the menu but tell me it is not recommended. If it’s what I wanted(BBQ chicken) and the cashier offered it to me on the side instead(BBQ sauce) just please the customer. The older lady just refused to give it to me. Once I got home I realized how small the portion was for $ 8

When my taste buds are craving a great Gryo this is my go to place of choice and what comes to mind. On my last visit I ordered the pita gyro and it was delicious. I have also tried their flamed broiled chicken in the past and it is very tasty as well. Their gyros are also fresh and hot. On each visit to this restaurant it has always been clean and organized. They have an open kitchen so you can watch the cooks make your meal and I have always seen them using gloves during the process which is one of my pet peeves. My Gyro was so delicious I wanted to eat it slowly as it ignited my taste buds. They also have an app you can download on your smartphone and gets coupons and be notified of deals and new menu items. Within the app you can order for delivery, it has the menu, coupons and option to cater. There is also a loyalty club punch card within the app and you automatically qualify for a free small side as a welcome gift when you initially sign up. As always Peck’s satisfied me once again.

I’m a Spanakopita fiend. This place has the best I have ever had in my life! Even reheated it amazing. The ratio is perfect and if you’re a fan you’ll know what I mean. The baklava is double layered and delicious. The flame grilled chicken is full of flavor and cooked perfectly every time. I can’t say enough about this place. It’s fantastic.

Really good food, I usually get the Gyro special. Its a nice diner with grilled chicken and meats definitely a place you can go to if there aren’t any other options.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. Although it may not catch your eye at a first glance it is most definitively worth your time. Extremely clean on the inside. Delicious, fresh cooked food. The owners are so kind and truly want you to enjoy your experience. Will definitely be back!

Very over priced business. Make sure you check your food before leaving. They will short you on meat.

I don’t know what happened to this place but the food is not good anymore. I been coming to Pecks for 8 years now and it used to be really good. You were able to taste the charbroiled on the chicken and it was very moist as well and the portions were great. I stopped by today and the first thing i noticed was the weight of the bag, i thought it was empty. When I opened it i was very disappointed, i even took a picture. The portion was like a 1⁄3 of what it used to be and the chicken oh my good it was killed all over again, super dry. The new owners need to realize the prior owners were able to open three stores in the Brandon/Riverview area, by making good food with good portions as well. If this is not correct it, i will see another small business going out of business.

We visited Pecks off of Big Bend for the 3rd time on 10⁄30 and were turned away again for being out of chicken. At 5:45pm on Friday night how are you out of chicken and don’t have enough pieces to make a family meal? I was told there would be hour wait for chicken from some lady with glasses on yelling from the grill. This was not the first time this has happened They 2nd time we were turned away because they were out of white meat and the first time they again were out of chicken. How are you out of chicken when it is a chicken place? Honestly in the last 4 months this place has gone down hill considerably. Driving away repeat customers to Popeyes. Popeyes will slowly drain them dry of loyal customers. So sad. Especially since we have loved this place so much since moving to the South Shore area a year ago.

The chicken was awesome! And good portion. Loved the grape leaves and the green beans as well. The mashed potatoes seemed like they were powdered instant ones and the gravy was very bland. The macaroni and cheese was very bland as well. I will definitely be back for the chicken and grape leaves though!

I’m updating and downgrading Peck’s to 3 stars. The chicken is still tasty and all but the last two times the portion size has been seriously reduced. The chicken looks like Cornish Game Hens, really small and the sides, which used to be spilling out everywhere now don’t. Not that I’m looking for gagantuan portions but compared to what you used to get it is now sad. The price stayed the same though. Another annoying thing they do is give you little containers of honey butter to spread on the accompanying pita but the put it in your dinner container. By the time you get it home it is liquid. Not good.

I have to say. I have been coming to this restaurant when the old owners had it. They were amazing and always took care of me. The food has always been amazing. And still is. Since the new owner has taken over. I think I will not return. Just a simple request for a thigh instead of a leg in a meal and I would pay extra. I was refused and told I had to buy a thigh and had to take the other piece I clearly did not want. Adjust the menu so people can buy exactly what they want. After being a loyal customer for many years. This imay have been my last trip here due to mismanagement.

Not worth the trip or the money. Chicken thigh and leg i think came off a baby chicken and was extremely dry

Gr8 tasting food, but small portions at a high value. Restaurant could use touch ups. Still set up as «5 guys and fries» as was prior business.

We’ve eaten at the 301 location and found the food OK, but only went back once. Now that the Big Bend location is closer, I decided to give them another chance. The chicken is cooked in advance so when you order it they put the pieces on the grill to warm up. This tends to burn the skin so we eat the chicken without much skin which is supposed to be healthier. We’ve never been a fan of the honey butter and find the fried sides to be fairly tasteless. I spotted dolmades(stuffed grape leaves) as a side and got 2 dinners with 2 sides of grape leaves each. Dolomades is easily the best side dish at Pecks and the reason we will order more dinners.

My husband and I drive past this place all the time so we finally decided to give it a try and wow it was awesome! From the outside it doesn’t look like much but give it a try anyways, sometimes those are the best places! The chicken is great, they food was in good sized portions!

Pecks is a wonderful place to eat in or take out. I was simply amazed that with the tastefulness of their food! I am very picky when it comes down to eating grilled chicken but they are really good with no sauce.

We now go to Peck’s 2 – 3 times per month. New owners but same quality food — always fresh, hand made, and tasty. If you like ribs, order them here. The BBQ chicken is also a house favorite. The fried okra is a fave. I also like the black beans and rice as a veggie. The Greek salad is also good every time. My wife gives a shout out to their collard greens — always tender and relish. Not too salty. If you are nearby, do come by. You will be very glad you did.

I always wanted to try this place so today my bf & I finally did. It wasn’t crowded when we walked in but they were quick to take our order. We chose the family meal which was split between 2 people. We chose the small family deal which consisted of 8 pieces of chicken, 2 large sides, and 4 pitas & honey butter. The chicken was soooooo moist and flavorful. A healthier option from fried chicken. For our sides we chose the macaroni & cheese and collard greens. With a little hot sauce and added black pepper it turned out good. There was a great option for sides next time I want to try the fried okra. The pita bread was a nice addition as well. We waited for about 10 min for our food & everything turned out hot & fresh. Overall I enjoyed the food. It’s nice option for a real meal besides the local fast food places. I will return!
