Hang on! I’ve had these guys in my home. The ridiculous claims that they don’t explain their contract are just silly. It’s a contract. Its simple. The one I got came with a series of promises they signed by. It’s a simple process. They dry out your house, assess the damages, then survey their costs by the same standards the insurance company does, and the best part is, they deal with the insurance company’s negotiation and inspection, and make sure you get what you’re owed. OFCOURSETHEYTAKE100% OFTHECLAIM and make a profit! THEYARETHEONE’S DOINGTHEWORK, DUH! WARNING: If you are looking to make money off your insurance claim, call a handy-man! These guys get the whole check; You get your house back to normal. Thats how it works. I don’t care what company you use. At least you don’t have to worry about knowing insurance law and all your entitlements for yourself… otherwise the insurance company would pay for less than they are supposed to if they can. FULLDISCLOSURE: I read a part of their contract on the front page that said if you have 3 business days to cancel your contract! I fact checked that and it is an industry standard grace period. If you cancel after your 3 days, they charge 20% because they already put work into your house, and had equipment in there drying it out, and estimated the project with a certified estimator. Made sense to me, I don’t know why other’s don’t get these simple things… sob stories like«I’m a widow with 32 kids! they ripped me off!» — I’m not buying it. I had a great time with them. They explained it all, but I can understand there are a lot of people out there who don’t even understand how insurance works, so of course a little contract is going to confuse them.
