I was the transportation for the patient, a family member, for a non-emergency surgical procedure. He’s doing fine, but is spending the night. I did spend most of the day here, and the next several days as well, so I got to know the place, and the area, well. I was very impressed by the friendliness, professionalism and attentiveness of everyone I met. There’s Wifi and complementary coffee and tea. Even some fresh fruit and pastries. Waiting areas(there are several) are clean, with TVs and magazines. There are also a couple charging stations for cell phones(see photos). One nice feature was the flat panel display that showed the status of the patient(anonymously via a number that only you know). I’ll get a picture when I go back to visit. There is a small cafeteria on the second floor. It’s not 24 hours, and at lunch had only one hot offering — On 11÷13÷15 it was cod. It looked and smelled quite good. Salads also available. There’s also a couple of vending machines there. Oh, and there is an emergency room here too. Bottom line: I was impressed. PS. If you need to burn off some energy, or get some fresh air, you can do laps around the parking lot. Each lap, including the lot for the Texas Back Institute, is about half a mile. There is also a smoking area behind the building. One last update: Just west on 114 is a great Japanese Restaurant called Fish and Knife( ). If you need a quick bite away from Baylor, it’s a convenient location and easy to get to.

Best experience that I’ve ever had in a hospital. I had a pretty complicated surgery and need special anesthesia, this is the only hospital that I’ve ever been to where the nurses understood what that entails. The whole facility was accommodating for people of size, and I never felt uncomfortable or had to worry about my gown. Even the woman from housekeeping was sweet! A few days after I came home they called to ask how I was feeling and ask if my pain was under control. They were very good about making sure that I was never in pain during my stay. The icing on the cake was a card that came in the mail signed by the people who actually took care of me! I highly recommend this place and I HATE hospitals.

I recently had knee surgery here and was very impressed by the clean and inviting atmosphere. Their attention to infection controls was comforting as I was about to have surgery. I would recommend this hospital for any procedure.

This hospital is amazingly great. The staff is super friendly and the facility is extremely clean and technologically up to date. Do not pass up.
