The menu appeared to be primarily salads, soups, and sandwiches. I think they offer daily specials but most of the diners were eating the typical lunch fare. My selection was the«Betsy’s Choice,» which was ham, turkey, provolone, tomato, and slaw on a Kaiser roll I had toasted. It also came with a bag of potato chips and pickle spear and cost around $ 7.00. I was surprised at how big it was. The Kaiser roll was huge and the turkey and meat were piled on. It’s good to know that they don’t skimp on the ingredients. If I weren’t a fat kid with no self control who believes writing a blog about food means I can eat whatever I want and there are no consequences, I could have eaten half and saved the rest for later. The ham and turkey tasted fresh and I forgot how much I like coleslaw as a topping on a sandwich. It adds sweetness and a different texture while not tasting as heavy as I believe mayo does. I would have preferred that they toast the bread with the meat and cheese so the provolone would melt but no such luck. Overall though, it was a very good sandwich and one I would order again.
