Worst customer service ever. Tricky bundles that do not save you money. Switching to satellite after 20 years of cox. Now if they would just get rid of those annoying cox commercials.

If I could give the company a zero star I would. Moving from Detroit Michigan with multiple cable/internet providers was eye opening. After calling various companies and getting quotes I called cox and was informed about a basic plan, internet and phone(local calls only) with router and one cable tv box, and taxes for GRAND total of 94 $ — the other companies ranged from 126 – 224 $. The same program and service was 86.35 $ per month in Michigan. I agreed to the two year contract if the total cable bill including router, tv box and taxes etc was under $ 100. Much to my surprise the first bill was 2.5 times that. After over 57 minutes on hold I finally get to speak to a rep only to find out I must be transferred again and wait another 30 plus minutes. After all this time I get«I will have to forward this issue to my manager.» Then 24 plus hours later I get a call stating that at no point was the price mentioned of 94 $. This is hard to believe since I took notes and have a lists of all the prices and services. So I ask to listen to the call — and am promptly informed to get a court order. Freedom of information act I guess doesn’t apply here(especially if they are wrong) The customer rep could not cancel my service could not transfer me to a manager or help in any way. They lied to get me to purchase the device and services and make it nearly impossible to clear up issues or resolve problems. Horrible customer service!!! Horrific call wait times and useless customer care specialist. I Will not even start about the office hours this company has— because if you work normal business hours and have to call on off hours may god have mercy on you! Disgusted consumer !
