I’ve lived at Hickory Woods for a total of 8 years, and I consider it home. Conveniently located, quiet, well-​kept and probably the best value for the money in the Roanoke Valley. There’s a full-​sized washer and dryer in every apartment, so no running to the laundry room three or four times a week. That makes a big difference when you work 60+ hours a week like I do.
You’re 5 minutes from the largest Kroger in the Roanoke Valley, 5 minutes from downtown, ten minutes from the malls. Near everything, but not in the middle of all the traffic and other assorted downsides of urban life.
