I’ve had Krispy Kreme’s from a box in a supermarket — but haven’t been in a store since I was a little girl. There is something quite magical in how light and airy those fresh off the line glazed donuts are — just unbelievable. Service here was wonderful — welcoming and helpful — and the donut production line visible from behind glass walls was a fun treat for us. It took me back to my childhood and those donuts were just soooooo good!

Nothing is as good as a fresh hot glazed Krispy Kreme doughnut. Even my brother-in-law NYC transplant dunkin doughnut faithful, fell in love. After we took hum here for the first time he’s obsessed with the search for the«lights on» fresh hot tasty treat wherever he can find one. I’m not really even a fan of glazed doughnuts, but the fresh hot ones are out of this world.

Fresh donuts constantly, and friendly staff! Try their limited edition donuts — always a treat. And take a chance on the signature coffee — you won’t be remiss. After the fire in the last Krispy Kreme, Roanoke locals have been going crazy after the reopening and during the night time it’s guaranteed to be jam packed. Look at for their deals, if you don’t mind the wait — It’s pretty good!

When this new store opened in Roanoke, after the one on Melrose had to close due to fire, Roanokers lost their ever-loving minds. It’s a doughnut. They are not laced with gold or served by a shirtless George Clooney. But they are good doughnuts. When they opened, they had freaking police directing traffic there because it was such a mess. But I went around 1 on a Tuesday, no problem. Drove right up. The 6 doughnuts I got(4 glazed, 2 snowmen) were a little over $ 6.00. For an extra $ 1.50-ish I could have gotten a whole dozen, but that would mean I’d have to eat a whole dozen, and nope.
