In the midst of Downtown Roanoke a bronze statue of Dr. Martin Luther King stands, just 25 yards from the historic Dumas Center for artistic and cultural development. There are nice views of the Wells Fargo building, the railroad, and the Hotel Roanoke. There are a few benches, and it is a nice small park as a tribute to one of our greatest civil rights Icons of US history. The statue is beautiful and there’s a brass bas relief of Dr. King at the foot of the statue. I was shocked that this was not listed in Unilocal!so I had to add it. Thanks for reading my review.
