The Candy Store had exactly what we were looking for — Boston Baked peanuts for my mom’s birthday. We have looked and looked, but couldnt find them anywhere else. This place is a candy wonderland. we saw sweets that we havent seen since childhood, plus some that we have never seen. The owner(?) was very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a return visit!

Looks like Candyland! A little bit! Gummy Bears in a little larger than normal, then the over a Pound Bear on a Stick, 5 pounds Gummy Bears and 10 Pound Gummy Bears! My Favorite was the Life Sized Gummy Human Brain! Very Cool! We got All Pineapple Gummy Bears(My Favorite and my Lovers Favorite too! We also got All Grape Gummy Bears! Chocolate from Romania and other Exotik Locations including Virginia USA(Virginia Chocolate Company and we Purchased and I devoured a Blueberry«White Chocolate» [they call it] Bar I call it Yummy!) They were well staffed indeed and needed to be they were very busy!

Super fun little store, right in the heart of Roanoke’s Market Square. It’s always fun being able to be a kid again. They have pretty much anything and every thing you could want. Candy sold in bulk,(fill your bag, weigh at the front), retro/nostalgic candy, including the not so politically correct, but i’m ok with that b/c it’s fun, cigarette candy, candy from across the ocean that is almost impossible to find in the states in a store, including the illusive Cadbury Whole Nut Bars, specialty chocolate made by Nancy’s and sold by the piece, various chocolate bars from around the country, giant size candy… like i said, you want it, chances are they have it! Friendly staff, fun candy store décor and bright colors. Worth stoping in if you’re in the Raonoke Area!
