I love Bo’s, but maybe it was the fact it was 2:30pm or they were having a bad day. I’m not going to ding them very hard. The staff was very friendly. The bathrooms were clean. And the food was ready fairly quickly for a Bo’s.(Hmm. This probably should have been a red flag…) The food itself wasn’t very good at all. The biscuits were inedibly dry and cold. I’ve had dry biscuits before, but this was like biting into chalk. The chicken was completely dried out and cold and tasted a little funny, so I just threw it out. The fries were very tasty though and actually hot. But Bo’s is expensive in comparison, so this lack of quality should simply not happen. I would have given them one star, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt on the lunchtime food being served to us as fresh. I know they can’t(or won’t?) afford to serve travelers like us fresh food. Live and learn. I’ll leave this place to the locals and stop somewhere else next time.

Someone made an excellent choice in opening a location here, as the fast food places at the exit off of US64 are the only options between Tarboro and Williamston. Ordered the chicken supremes dinner with dirty rice and sweet tea. Order was quickly ready. Good flavor. Like the free wifi so I could check email, etc before getting back on the road.

Yum. Part of our Bo tour of the south. Amazing chicken and biscuits. Seasoned fries are better than most other chains, but you go to Bo’s for chicken, everything else is gravy. Bo knows chicken. Service excellent and wi fi is free. Can’t miss with the sweet tea.
