It was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded and I’m sold! There was a wait due to a group of teenagers but only took about 20 minutes to get serviced. I told the lady I’d never had threading before so she explained everything as she did it. I also informed her I haven’t had my brows touched in about a year other than tweezing myself. I’m happy and my eyebrows are no longer reminiscent of caterpillars. Can’t beat it for $ 15(plus $ 5 tip) compared to the cost of waxing. My only advise to them is to have a price list as it was a guess at the price until I paid. Maybe there was one but I didn’t see it. :/

Since moving to Pittsburgh 3 months ago, I have been looking for eyebrow threading to no avail. After not finding anywhere in town, today I decided I would drive the 12 miles all the way to the Ross Park Mall after work. However, when I arrived to the store at 8:15pm I was turned away by the woman working there. There were three women ahead of me. I continued to wait for two of the customers ahead of me completed to be completed, at which time it was still only 8:30pm. The woman again said she would not take me. When I told her that it was only 8:30 and her shop closed at 9 according to the website and the signs in her store, she told me sorry and that I would have to leave. The service takes about 5 – 7 minutes. It does not make sense to turn someone away before 10 minutes until closing, in my opinion. I am mostly disappointed that I wasted my time and gas driving so far for no service at all. I will not return, but I hope they either adjust their advertised hours, since the store effectively closed at 8:15pm or address this issue with the person working there in the evenings. I suspect their threading services are good, but I am afraid I cannot refer others here due to this poor service. The search continues… why is there no threading available in town in Pittsburgh?

Just had my eyebrows done here for the first time and LOVE it! I didn’t have to wait, the entire process took about 5 minutes and my eyebrows are perfect. This was my first experience with threading, so I was a little nervous. It hurt less than waxing, with no gooey residue. I have sensitive skin that turns bright red when I get waxed and stays that way for days… not an issue at all with threading. I’ll definitely go back!

I have never had a badly done job at this place. My eyebrows are always shaped into a perfect arches that match each other…(quite a feat I tell you! I have never had this at other threading places I have tried.) I know people think its too pricey, but I believe the price is at par with all the other threading parlours I have been to in the northeast. Infact, a point in its favor: atleast you don’t have to sit at a mall’s passageway having whoever is visiting the mall that day watch you have your threading done… Trust me THAT happens! :))

I’ve been getting my eyebrows threaded for over a year now living in the Los Angeles area. I love it! While visiting home in Pittsburgh, I was happy to find out they finally had a eyebrow place in the Robinson mall. During my longer visits home, I’ve gone there about 4 times now. Pros: Quick… only once did I have to wait more than 5 minutes. I’ve had the same girl each time, she is very nice and have no complaints about her or the service. Good location. Cons: I am unhappy with the price there…$ 14 is pretty steep I think, I only pay $ 9 at my place in LA and they do a way better job. I’m guessing just because its more rare here to find. They do a pretty decent job here, so its not bad by any means… I’m satisfied… but they def don’t look as good as my other place for $ 5 cheaper a session, but since its the only place within like a 15 – 20 mile radius… I would tell someone to go there if they needed their brows done.
