Amazing service, consistent execution and wonderful hospitality. The décor is very beautiful. My tenderloin was cooked to perfection. Chef was out greeting tables and checking on quality. Robin went above and beyond as our server. I couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience. It was a lovely meal almost too pretty to eat and started our vacation out on a great note.

Unlike the other 2 reviews on here for Twains, we actually had a great meal here. The crab dip was a phenomenal appetizer. I had the short ribs with polenta and they were excellent. My wife had fillet and baked potato. The steak was perfectly cooked ad the potato was massive. Our friends ordered the seafood chowder and pork chops. The chowder was gone in no time. The pork chops tasted good but were a little dry. Desserts were excellent as well. Now, my wife and I are very picky about food quality and preparation and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We didn’t have a reservation but got seated quickly. We got there an hour before closing and it wasn’t very busy. Our first round of drinks from the bar were a little weak on alcohol but the bartender made sure our subsequent rounds were up to par and without any extra charge. Service was excellent and not overbearing. We had a really bad experience the night before at Binions Steakhouse. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Unlike the previous reviewer I have no hesitation giving a one star review when it is merited. This is definitely not a fine dining restaurant. I can only imagine three reasons why someone would venture into this restaurant. 1. You’ve lost a lot of money, decided to drown your sorrows in alcohol, and stumbled in because you didn’t want to go to the buffet. In which case, you won’t care about this review. 2. You’ve won a lot of money, decided to celebrate with one too many martinis, and stumbled in because you didn’t want to go to the buffet. In which case, you won’t care about this review. 3. The rest of your party wants what they expect will be a fine meal, and you can’t abandon them and simply go play craps. In which case you won’t care about this review. The only silver lining in this very dark cloud is the jovial attitude of the manager and staff. That said, the actual service was diner-worthy. Most of the party ordered appetizers only and a couple of us ordered a main course, with no appetizer. The appetizers were all brought out… but nothing for the those of us who ordered mains. So… we had two meals. Those with appetizers as their main ate first and we ate after the appetizers were cleaned up. I’m just glad we anticipated this and that the folks with appetizers only didn’t do the«right» thing and wait for our mains to arrive so we could dine together. We’d still be there. The food, remarkably unremarkable. Salmon was obviously from a bag and was cooked to the point of sawdust. The risotto? Stiff rice with some sort of curdled cream sauce. The spare ribs were cooked dry and quite without seasoning. Everything else was a notch below these. The money I lost at the craps table was better spent than that on dinner here.

Horrible from start to finish! No where near the quality of a comparably priced SteakHouse I.E. Doe’s, Ruth Chris, Mortons, Chop House. This place gets 2 stars, because I hate giving 1 star to anyone.
