Was hearing noise from furnace so I called ISAAC after referral from friend. Had them identify issue and perform full HVAC/Water heater maintenance on 15 year old system. Technician was thorough, told me what I really needed now, and what could wait — I appreciated them not running up the bill. On the follow up visit, however, there was an issue with other equipment in my system which was not being repaired in which I believed ISAAC was the cause. At this point their customer service was tested. ISSAC was completely above board. They quickly resolved to my full satisfaction. When unexpected things happen it is the response that gains repeat business — and for this I would not hesitate using ISAAC again

Boiler picked the coldest day of the year for a non-start. I’m relatively new to the area and have used Isaac previously with mixed results but I was willing to try them again rather than call a complete unknown in an emergency. Office was courteous and tech was timely(if very late in the day) and pleasant. It’s down to how they handle $$$. If money(and how they get to pricing) is no object they’re probably going to be fine. For starters the $ 89.95 service charge is really not a «service»; it is a show-up cost. After a cursory inspection, the«service» was complete and I was offered a part replacement that might or might not help, or «diagnostics» at somewhere between $ 75 — $ 130 to further diagnose the problem. Fairly confident the problem was electronic, replacing the entire electronic panel seemed a safe bet. Cost of replacement was $ 417 or $ 585 with only minor enhancement in the costlier. I elected for $ 417 and signed on the line(literally). The tech went to his truck for the part and, after an extended absence, returned with the new unit. Unfortunately, he stated, the $ 417 model was incorrectly priced in «the book» and was actually going cost $ 535. I asked for options and, though nobody stated the obvious, the only option was to spend another night in an igloo and start again with someone new in the morning. I signed on the line again(literally) and in one short hour heat was in the air. On receipt of the itemized Invoice, I price-checked the exact AquaStat relay which retails at $ 153.95. I contacted Isaac customer service for clarification and was told their hourly rate is $ 180(plus various markups) !!, but not to extrapolate as they price flat-rate. In the end $ 655 to furnish and install a $ 154 part… and a great deal of advice on other construction services Isaac provides — which I believe appears on the Invoice as «homeowner discussion» and«training conversation with high level techs» at $ 0.00.

We’ve been Issac customers for a long time, for three different homes. Always reliable and always prompt and efficient service calls. We are about to upgrade to a new furnace, air conditioner, air filter system, and humidifier. This is the second time we’ve done this with Issac. This company has our full trust.

We have an annual contract with Isaac so we contacted them when our air conditioner/heat pump compressor failed. The first technician told us the unit was under warranty. The next technician who came to evalaute the problem said the unit was not under warranty and recommended replacing the entire system rather just the compressor. We received written estimates from Isaac for the 3 options ranging from $ 3000.-$ 8800.00. We were told that tax would be added to the estimated cost. We contacted a different HVAC company who evaluated the unit in much the same manner, The unit was found to be under warranty and we were given similar options at a much lower cost with the same unit. We were not charged sales tax as the project was considered a capital improvement. We went went with the other company and saved thousands of dollars. We will not use Isaac in the future as the entire transaction was handled poorly. All the technicians were nice enough though.

Terrible. They were installing a furnace for us, we called them just because of name recognition. Stupid, I know. Should have asked around. Now everyone I talk to about this rolls their eyes when I mention the name Isaac. Since they were installing a furnace, I asked if they could repair my tankless hot water heater. They said yes, which turned out not to be true. $ 1000+ later, the thing still doesn’t work. Often, the servicemen(two at a time) would be in my basement, talking to the manufacturer and looking at the manual for hours at a time. Clearly, they have no idea how to repair these things. Yet they’re happy to take your money for it. Never calling them for anything again, except to continue to fight with them to get some of my money back.

Have used Isaac for annual maintenance on our Heating/Air and now thankless water heater and gas strove insert — none of which they initially installed. I have the maintenance plans on all the items and they do a yearly cleaning and check and doing a great job, attention to detail and reasonably priced. They are honest and don’t try and«fix» things that aren’t needed. Their staff are on time, call prior to arrival and are clean/pleasant, explain details and are just generally helpful.

We have used Isaac for over 10 years now for our yearly maintenance, cleaning and inspection. Scheduling is a breeze and technicians are top notch. As a bonus they are also prompt and very courteous. Carlos M called on Friday, let me know when he was arriving and he arrived on time and gave me his business card and got right to work. About ½ later he was all done. Perfection.
