I am so thankful that a friend recommended Skintuition! I have received waxing services from both Jen and Sarah. They were professional and made me feel very comfortable!

The first time I visited Skintuition was for waxing my back, which one of my past relationships got me into. I use to go to visit Lauren and her staff before they moved to a better location and I can tell you the experience has never changed. If anything, it got better. My waxing became more frequent with Sarah who was extremely polite and does a great job at making you feel comfortable. Just recently, I started my first laser treatment.
Lauren was very knowledgeable when she wanted to consult me before scheduling my first appointment. I had done laser treatment before but based on my experience with Lauren compared to my treatments in Birmingham, I could tell that Lauren’s services were far much better. My treatments in Birmingham were not painful but it never worked after paying a couple grand. Lauren’s prices are much more reasonable and you can tell after your first treatment with her that it’s working. Granted, my first laser treatment with Lauren was a little painful but there’s no way of getting around that when using lasers to remove hair. Lauren was great at making sure I was comfortable and did the best she could to make sure that my experience wouldn’t discourage me to continue my treatments… only 5 more to go!

I am so happy I found Lauren and skintuition! I went there for laser hair removal and I am very pleased with the results, Lauren is so professional and nice! trust me visit her, you won’t be disappointed. It sucks that I moved to Fl, because i can’t find a decent place here :(
It’s been already a year since I had my last laser session and the results are AMAZING! No more shaving, waxing or ingrown hair!

I have gone a few times for spray tans for special events. My skin has always looked great and natural. I am a pale natural blonde and my previous experiences with spray tans elsewhere ended in horrible orange hands and feet and an overall unnatural look. Here I can hide my minor tan lines from working outside and wear a nice dress and everyone tells me my skin looks like it is glowing and assume it is from the sun ;) Oh and the cost is the most reasonable I have ever seen for a actual person doing it and not a booth. It has been a little while since I have gone but I have never paid over $ 35 for a spray tan and the women who do it are very nice.

Well, today was my first time visiting Skintuition, and I got to see Jen! I came for a brazilian wax and she did an AMAZING job! She was so fast and thorough, and she was very easy to talk to! It’s also nice that after your first visit, the price goes down! Who doesn’t like a deal?!? Anyways, I left smooth and happy! And it was done so quickly that the pain came and went super fast. I will be returning!

Lauren (the owner) is knowledgable, honest, professional, and just a pleasant person. Good laser hair removal is hard to find, but I trust her expertise. I’ve also had great spray tans here and wouldn’t go anywhere else for either service.

Skintuition is, without a doubt, the best place I’ve ever been for waxing. I’ve tried spas all over place and this spa has surpassed all the others in terms of cost, efficiency, cleanliness and overall customer care.
I found Skintuition (formerly Advanced Skin Care) just by using (wait for it) Unilocal!As always, the fearless Unilocalers steered me in the right direction. I have purchased their waxing and spray tanning services and have been very happy with both. I don’t go anywhere else now!
Lauren, in particular, has hands of lightning! I have never been in and out of a waxing session with such speed. That being said, however, she is exceptionally meticulous and I have never left a session with any stray hairs. I also recently had a waxing appointment with Jen and she was also fantastic! I would definitely recommend her, as well.
Finally, Skintuition’s level of customer service is exceptional. All of the employees have been courteous, friendly and eager to assist.

If you need a wax come here! The décor and atmosphere are great. Jen waxed me fast and was not too painful! Very nice ladies!

Lauren is the only esthetician that I go to in Metro Detroit. She works wonders with wax and lasers! Lauren will always be honest about what she can and cannot do and is very knowledgeable about each service offered. The spa is always down to earth, professional, and classy (but not stuck up!). 5 stars!!!
