Supercuts

I had a pretty bad experience here. I walked in to get a trim (my hair is not uneven as I trim regularly). There were two ladies there, one who was the manager the other… the lady who attempted to trim my hair.
When I finished my hair was extremely uneven. Like I’ve never seen before, I went in between work stops. When I finally got the chance to look in the mirror I was pretty upset. I called the salon back and told them about the experience. The lady, Diane apologized and told me to come back and her manager would fix it.
First off, I know it’s only hair… but I’m African American with long hair, I work hard to grow it and don’t like it aimlessly chopped off. I imagined anyone trained could trim hair whether black, white, whatever. I stopped back in to have the manager fix it. It was still bad as she tried to minimize the horrible cut I received prior. She finished and by this time I was ready to leave (and go to someone who would actually really correct this issue)
I went to a friend from my hometown who had to trim two inches to correct the issue. Worst cut experience I’ve had and will definitely not be back.

Friendly service. Listened to what we wanted. And did a superb job. And the hot towel at the end is awesome. Highly recommend.

In addition to my earlier review I’d like to add the following touches that make this particular Supercuts feel like the neighborhood barbershop.
1-​Blair: I know I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again she is amazing. She has extensive experience taking care of mixed (a rare rare skill) and straight hair. But her skills are just the beginning of the experience. What I particularly enjoyed was the fact that her attention to detail and ability to listen to you make for a fantastic creative partnership. I have to thank her for helping me realize my internal vision of what I wanted. I went in for a trim and ended up getting some summer color and a few products that I had never previously considered. The result of this encounter has led me to be able to enhance both my hair styling and hair health. The environment is well complimented with rich blue tones, and black furniture. I honestly could ask for more. If your looking for knowledge, style and substance give it a try.

Friendly and fast service. All of the hair stylists were very welcoming. Great place to go for a clean, fresh haircut.
