I’ve always enjoyed the location, but it’s now closed. Great salads and pita wraps. I guess I’ll have to look elsewhere. I wish there were more fresh and wholesome food options like Aladdin’s in Henrietta. Too many chain restaurants serving low quality food and experiences.

When I want a huge salad to munch on I come here. If you get meat on the salad, you get a huge portion of meat. So the four/five dollar upcharge is worth it. The service is a little weird. Sometimes its awesome other times it’s not at all. Its always a gamble of how it will go.

I’ve just had an outstanding dinner experience at Aladdin’s. I’d never been there before, as I don’t live in the Rochester area. The atmosphere was comfortable, light, and friendly. My waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu items, and when I asked for help making a decision(everything looked too good), she gave me a few of the most popular items, as well as her personal favorites. I ended up having the grilled chicken strips to start, which were done just right over a small, zesty salad. I had the limone pasta — I chose the spinach linguini — and added chicken. Perfect. Both items came out very promptly, but not too soon. Right on time. Although I was stuffed, I had to order the baklava, which was out of this world. The staff was very attentive and pleasant throughout my entire experience. I left Aladdin’s very full and very happy. I can’t say enough good things about this place. It would make a great spot for a casual date.

Salad with falafel was quite good. Food arrived quickly during lunch but after that our server was slow. Had to wait a very long time for our check and to go box.

This is my favorite location out of all in town. They are always so accommodating for any dietary special needs. The prices are great for what you get. The food is always fresh. Great for dine in or take out. Big fan!

We’ve been to all of the Aladdin’s locations around town but when going to an RIT hockey game this is the place we eat at beforehand. The food is pretty much the same at all locations. If I were rating the place on their gyros alone it would get ONE star — they are consistently dry — overcooked meat and little sauce, probably the worse gyros in a town that has below average gyros. A real shame — we need a good gyro/shawarma joint in this town, but I digress. Fortunately other dishes like the len-chili, their salads, and the hummus appetizers are much better. The service is casual. Before hockey games it is pretty empty which makes for a cold atmosphere. Just OK so not sure why we keep coming back…

Prices have gone up and salads have gone down. The portions used to be awesome, now their kind of sad, esp for $ 7+

Like all Aladdins, this place has a nice atmosphere and good food. However, I was extremely disappointed with the lack of vegan options. For a health food restaurant, there wasn’t much I could choose from! The waiter was terrible and it seemed like I was inconveniencing him every time I needed something. Portions were small.

The food here is amazing and exceeded our expectations. We found the quality to be better than the location in Pittsford! We had the Mixed Grill plate which was amazingly fresh; a mix of grilled chicken, shrimp, and beef over peppers and mushrooms on a toasted pita. The hummus is consistently fresh and lemony, while the tabouli has more fresh parsley than you could imagine! Aladdin’s dressing is always the perfect topping to a salad. This food is very reasonable priced for the quality and service was quick!

Awesome Greek salad! I got the chicken one and it was really good. The chicken had good flavor and was not just grilled or baked. It would have been good by itself. The Greek dressing was awesome as well! Loved it!

Aladdin’s is a solid choice if you’re looking for a great salad. I’ve only dined in at this location twice, but I order their salads for take out frequently. The roman salad($ 7.25 + $ 3.50 for grilled chicken) is my favorite here. It’s composed of mixed greens, apples, toasted pitas, goat cheese & a lemon-citronette dressing. For $ 10.75, you get a pretty big salad and a decent amount of chicken. The lemon-citronette dressing tastes pretty identical to their greek dressing, and I’ve never noticed any lemon in it. This location at Park Point now closes at 8pm most nights, which is unfortunate since I like to pick up a light meal in the later evening after a long day on campus.

I have to agree with Phil C. on this location. I frequent Aladdin’s on Monroe Avenue monthly and enjoy it immensely. This location is closer, but after my second visit, I think we’ll hit the road and go back to Monroe Ave. Our food was fine. Comparable to Monroe Ave. The complimentary basket of pita bread was appreciated. However… The staff all looked under the age of 25: perky and handsome, but IMHO they lacked soul. Our waiter could have been a model for Abercrombie and Fitch, but while nice eye-candy, he was robotic in our interactions. He appeared to be nursing a wish to be anyplace else but here. This location is on the RIT campus and accepts Tiger bucks, so they appear to be focused on being efficient, rather than charming. At the Monroe Ave. location we typically get the same waitress. Many pardons for not remembering her name, she is the sister-in-law to the owner, and a pure delight! She genuinely seem to care if we have enjoyed our meal, truly making us feel like family. It’s a beautiful thing!

For Rochacha, I suppose Aladdin’s has some exotic overtones, but in some ways, this restaurant feels uninspired. Perhaps it’s because there are nice mom and pop Greek/Mediterranean restaurants where I am, and many of them have really good food while having personality. I went for the spanikopita and it was okay. I wasn’t mind-blown by it but at the same time, it wasn’t horrific. The fillo pastry was not too doughy and had a crisp exterior. There was a reasonable proportion of spinach and feta. The Greek salad had one olive and it was the smallest olive I had ever seen. The décor and service were also average. Again, the décor was uninspiring but clean. There’s no feel that it’s a Greek/Lebanese restaurant. It actually kinda felt more like a generic suburban restaurant. The waitress did her job properly. For college kids, the offerings here probably are exotic for them. However, for someone that has seen a little more, this was just pedestrian.

Not bad. Not spectacular. Fast service, although a bit awkward since we were seated in front of the kitchen and the staff. Great vegetarian options, and I’ve heard they have great salads, so I’ll definitely try that if I stop by next time.

We dropped in here with a fairly good sized group of people around dinner time but had no problem getting seated. The place itself isn’t that big, but is warm and comfortable, with a sort of Middle Eastern touch. I’m not clear on the history of the place but I want to say there was a connection in the past with the Aladdins in other cities that offer up Lebanese food. This branch, however, takes its inspiration more from Greek and Italian food and focuses on pasta and wraps. This visit, I was craving something light and refreshing, so I ordered the Roman salad with some dolmades. The salad itself was pretty good. The toasted pitas added a bit of crunch and flavor, the apples were sliced super thin(which is how I like them), and the goat cheese was rich and pungent but not the least bit overpowering. The dressing, however, just really wasn’t my thing. I had expected something with a powerful citrus flavor but was disappointed by what tasted like pretty much plain oil. It wasn’t a big deal for me since I don’t eat salad with much/any dressing anyhow, and this salad in particular had enough flavors that more flavor wasn’t necessary, but I would not order this again. I might instead go for the mousaka which another party member ordered and which, going by the sample bite I had, was very good with a bit of a tanginess that the salad was missing. The dolmades, meanwhile, were decent, though I can’t say I would order them again. However, please note that no matter the temperature outside or the temperature of the food they are served with, my personal preference is that dolmades be served warm. It feel that I more fully taste the flavors and that the texture is more enjoyable when they’re heated a bit. If you like cool dolmades or have no preference, you’ll probably like these just fine. My party also shared some hummus. It was decent, with a good creamy texture and mild flavor. The pita bread served with it was a very basic pita bread — not toasted or particularly flavorful — but it tasted fresh, and the waitress was good about bringing more when we asked. This was very good since the portions tend to be decent sized, and the hummus was no exception. Dessert is something that cannot be missed at Aladdins, so we didn’t. Although the various cakes sounded amazing, we ordered baklava which was the highlight of the meal for me. They do not skimp on the honey here, so the little pastries are soft, chewy, and dripping with sweetness. I gather the honey banana milk smoothie is very good too if you like bananas. Prices here can be pretty good. A lot of the wraps and stuff are around $ 7 each and the portions aren’t bad. I don’t think they come with sides, though, so a big appetite might want to go with the souvlaki or a pasta dish instead. Anyway, I’m not thrilled with the dressing or the dolmades but I think I can justify rounding up to 4 stars given the baklava, server, and salad itself. I’d be happy to come back again on my next trip up.

Odd, the chain itself had good reviews but this location was pretty bad. The presentation and the price was spot on but the food tasted gross. I had the falafel pita pocket and my husband had the gyro roll. The falafel and gyro meat was so dry… so dry I had to take big gulps of ice tea to get it down. I thought his meat looked like beef jerky. I couldn’t believe how dry and shrunken the strips of meat were. Great location but the food was pretty gross.

Just ate here and was more than pleased. From the very beginning the service was excellent and the food was amazing. The prices are very reasonable for the amount you get. The owners came over to speak to us, only to find out that they live right down the road from us in Avon, NY. We will be making this our once a week dinner out.

Hmm so I’ve always been a fan of Aladdin’s .some locations are better than others. This location is not one of the better ones in my opinion. The people were very nice. Order was right and fast. 2 Stars for that. The portions were much smaller here and unfortunately a blonde hair was in my len-chili :(. Once a hair is found that is a wrap for me. The Caesar Salad dressing tasted like just plain olive oil. Even though this location is closer to me I probably won’t return to this location.
