Antiquity

During my recent visit to my old hometown– I noticed this new store tucked back off of 2^nd street and of course I wanted to stop in and see what it was all about. Very cute store with various odd pieces of furniture that would be excellent accent pieces –some of them were re-​purposed or refinished and that was cool to see how you can take an ugly old piece of furniture put a coat of vibrant turquoise blue paint on it and suddenly you have a very fabulous piece of furniture that gives your room pop… there were some smaller items here like pictures, candle holders, little decorative pieces… what was really weird is the store was open and lights were on but we never once saw another human in the store and we were in there for well over 10 minutes —good thing we are honest people but it was really strange to not see an employee — what if I did want to buy something???
