Applebee’s

Standard applebees. Service was good, food was decent. Had the burger with brisket and jalapenos. Nothing exciting, but I would come here again. There are now 2 acceptable restaurant in Rochester!

Very disappointed with burgers take out twice. Burgers are overcooked. Fries were so salty they were not edible. Sadly, won’t go there again.

The food and service was great. Donna was doing a great job. Had the wedge salad and Sarachi shrimp. It was tasty. I would come back

45 minutes — no food and no drink refills. This is to the point of almost being funny if it wasn’t so incredibly inept. I am updating the review based solely on the actions of the manager Joe. He came over to the table to apologize and gave us a credit for a future visit. He offered to comp our meal but I asked if the meal is/​was ready why don’t we have it on the table already… Anyway, Joe was gracious and really nice.

I love the appetizers here… well they changed the menu and now they don’t have the platter they used to. Very disappointing. Go to Chili’s. I’ll be back when they change the menu back.

It’s been a long time since I have been here. Menu has changed. But they had a good selection to choose from. I wanted to get a traditional burger that I have gotten. I will admit they no longer grill them over a flame. Which was disappointing. They are fried. I loved it when they grilled them. But the service was good and the meal was still tastey.

Food was delicious. Our server, Maggie was wonderful. She very attentive to our needs. She kept checking with us to make sure we were okay. We’ll be asking to set in her section next time for sure.
No issues with wait time. The nice thing is you know when you order something you’ve eaten there before, it’s going to taste just as good the next.

Applebee’s tends to be not enjoyed by my family as they would rather eat McDonalds instead but after my grandmother gave us a gift card, we decided to have dinner there to see if a surprise was waiting inside the rotten apple.
I expected for our server to arrive at our table in ten minutes or less… not the case here. We sat there for a mere twenty minutes poorly waiting for any staff member to walk up and take our orders, or at the very most, explain what the popsicles was going on. Eventually, a waiter finally noticed us and even though he was swamped with five other tables, was generous enough to take care of us and was very friendly the entire way which in return, rewarded him a fifty dollar tip.
Our food eventually arrived and as I enjoyed my steak, the rest of my family were pleased with their plates of awesome as I call them. I’m happy to write that the experience was better then I expected but it wasn’t anything extraordinary.

Food always good, servers good, no complaints for me.

Good food, great service on mid day lunch.
However back ground music too loud and playing rap, new wave, college format.
80 to 90% of the customers in the place are old folks. A few other tables also made comments on the poor taste in music and how loud it was.
Most likely we will be not going back to this applebee’s, we like to sit and talk and be able to hear each other and not compete with loud poor taste music.
It’s not a night club…

I kind of don’t even know what to say about this place. Nothing about it stands out but nothing is horrible either. It is your average grill and bar with average food and average service. I never choose to go here but I will gladly go with friends and enjoy whatever I order to eat. … And that’s all I have to say about that (Forest Gump).

Let me preface by saying that I used to come here a lot mainly because everyone in the family liked it and we would have either gift cards, coupons, or the Delta Sonic dinner things.
This particular location is situated off of the main road in a cramped little restaurant plaza, shared with Olive Garden and The Distillery on either side. Inside, there is the bar in the middle that forms a U shape in front of the kitchen, which seats about 15 – 18. Surrounding this on one side are tall bar tables that seat 5 or 6 each and some booths on the other side. Then, tables are on the outer edge. The décor is fairly random, with everything from sports to music to pictures to signs and it looks haphazardly strewn on the walls. But… what do I know? I’m no interior designer…
The menu has a lot of standard American meals that aren’t really worth describing. The last time I came here I think I got some sort of wrap. But I’ve had a lot of their food, which isn’t horrible, but not great either.
I’m not a cocktail drinker so I can’t comment on their mixed drinks, but their beer selection is as expected for a standard chain (poor) and the wine list mirrors it.
I have to say though, if you’re going to a restaurant like this and expecting 3 or 4 star quality, you’re either extremely spoiled or your expectations are too high. Come here with a group of friends and hang out, have a good time. Don’t come here expecting waiters to pour water for you with their other hand behind their back.
