Auto Techs of Rochester

I live in Oregon and was in town to visit family and buy my grandpa’s truck. The plan was to drive it back out west from MN. Unfortunately, the truck had been sitting for several months and was not running well. I actually broke down in Rochester. An unfamiliar town and a broken down truck, I searched Unilocal for a mechanic. Found AutoTech by chance off a couple good reviews and location to where I broke down.
I couldn’t be happier that I happened upon AutoTech and Roger the owner. First, he came and towed me… not in 30 min, not in an hour… but right away. I had to get back up to Mpls and then out west, so Roger said he’d take care of it and hold it until I could get back in town. 3 or 4 times over the next month I talked with Roger and got updates on the truck. Not only did he fix it, but he arranged for my dad to pick it up at 5 pm on a Saturday.
A couple days after that I flew back to mpls and picked up the truck. Drove it out to OR in two days and over many mountain passes. It drove like a champ!

If you’re looking for an honest mechanic, these guys are as good as it gets.

It’s been quite a few years since I moved away from Rochester, but any time I hear of someone who is moving there or even visiting, I always make sure to tell them about Auto Techs of Rochester. When I went to this place, as a young single girl out of college, unlike at many garages where I feared being taken advantage of, I felt that the guys at Auto Techs were taking care of me, looking out for me, and going out of their way to save me money and keep my car safe. They even bought my car from me, after it was totaled (it sank) in a flash flood and was basically worthless. Definitely go here!
