Big R BQ was one of the headliner trucks at the WAB’s most recent rally and it started out the gate strong but the line seemed to dwindle.
We ordered one brisket slider and one pulled pork slider to start with. In retrospect I think opting for the BBQ sundae would have been a more satisfying choice but based solely on the sliders, I wanted something great from this truck and it fell a little short. That said, I’d definitely try them again and maybe order something a little more exciting next go around. But the concept and menu are both there. Worth a try for sure.

Great pulled pork sandwich and chipotle mac n cheese to die for! This food truck with slow-​cooked meats and more-​than-​you (or maybe just I)-can-eat pulled pork or brisket «sundaes» (meat over smashed garlic potatoes topped with bbq sauce and grated cheese) is definitely worth looking for.
