Colombini’s Pizza & Deli

Had a turkey sub. The ingredients were fresh and had lots of high quality lunch meat on it. The bread was amazing! Way better than subway.

The place is pretty small but boy is their pizza good! I didn’t try the sandwiches because I heard they’re not great but the pizza was fantastic. You can have the dough thin, thick, or extra thick, which is pretty cool. It was really flavorful but a tiny bit greasy.
The real star of the show here is the chicken wings though. They were cooked perfectly. Be advised though that the sweet and sour chicken wings are very spicy! I really enjoyed their garlic Parmesan wings. Best wings in the area by far.

What is going on at Colombini’s? Went there today, the place was filthy, the staff was unorganized, the wait time was ridiculous. People were in the back eating & watching what was going on in the front and offering no help to the people out front. This used to be a class act place, clean, organized. The BOH need to go in and inspect the place, my skin was crawling. The girl at the register chomped gum, made no eye contact and was as unfriendly as can be. Next time I take my money to Wegmans.

Pizza okay if you do not care what comes on your pizza. We did not get what we ordered. Sheet pizza was all pepperoni when it was supposed to be ½ pepperoni and ½ cheese. Called to get fixed as we had vegetarians at our party, rep on phone argued with me. Cook came on the phone and told me he would not fix it and hung up on me. Terrible service!

We LOVE their pizza. We always get pepperoni and pineapple and it’s always perfect. I went vegetarian for a while and the pizza was still awesome. My husband and I also really love their wings and calzones. Continually go back for more.

Website prices and chicken wing count on online menu do not match in deli price. Got two wings less for a dollar more.

I moved from Buffalo about a year ago now. I have searched high and low on the west side for great pizza! There are a few good places, but I had just about given up on finding «Buffalo Quality» until I found Colombini’s! Lots of toppings, great sauce, fantastic pricing! The only thing that keeps them from 5 stars is that they don’t offer regular delivery. If you are looking for great WNY pizza, then you have to try this family owned and operated hidden gem!

So, im home visiting ROC for the holidays and of course need pizza and wings. We ordered a sheet pizza and bucket of wings from Columbini’s and picked it up; brought it back to the party. Opened it up and saw VERY little cheese. Called to complain and was blown off by the phone girl, who offered us a few dollars off next time. We explained that was not a sufficient response for a $ 45.00 pizza order. She offered us extra cheese next order, but requested we take a picture to prove our complaint. We then asked to speak with a manager who offered to make us a new half sheet for us to pick up. We explained we’re at a party and don’t want to drive back to Columbini’s. Frankly we were afraid they’d spit in the pizza or something based on the phone treatment we received and all swearing in the background. We let the manager know that they were ruining their business relationship with a family that has been a patron of Columbini’s for years. The manager called back and offered to have the replacement pizza delivered. Too little too late. Should have went to Mark’s.

Best pizza in town. Order your wings extra-​crispy with mild buffalo and they can’t be beat. Cold-​cuts are half the price of the grocery store and of good quality. This deli has been in town a long time and is not fancy but turns out consistently good food.

We went here the other day for the first time. We waited at least 5 full minutes for the guy to acknowledge us so we could place an order– he was too busy hanging out at the food counter talking to his girlfriend. He then literally jumped up over the counter to kiss her — never apologized for the delay. Not exactly professional.
The food was sub-​par — and best of all there was a hair (probably a beard hair from loverboy) in our sandwich. Gross. It seemed that there was a small fire or something had dreadfully burned because the entire place was full of smoke-​we reaked of it when we left.
It was a weekend night and all they had to offer in the way of slices were uncooked ‘gas station’ style slices in plastic wrap.
I cannot believe people come here more than once– then again, so many of the reviews are suspiciously over-​enthusiastic one is left to wonder…

I’ve tried many wings in Rochester and Colombini’s has really amazing wings! For a price you can’t beat the wings were perfectly cooked and perfectly drenched in Franks and butter. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody.

I thought the sandwiches were pretty bad, but the pizza was surprisingly delicious! We got a large, regular crust pizza with sausage and hot peppers. Everything about it was great, especially the crust. Definitely coming back here.

Best wings in Rochester… hands down. I have eaten my share of wings in Buffalo and Rochester. Although Duff’s and Anchor Bar in Buffalo jointly hold the title in Buffalo, Colombini’s has the title in Rocester and I would say leads the pack for all three in Upstate NY… the home of the Chicken Wing!!!
I have had other food there as well… pizza is very good, have to get sausage on it it because theirs is one of the best I have had on a pie. The dough is slightly airy (if thats a word) and they are not big on rolling in an edge crust.
They cannot make a steak sub worth crap though. I can in early to pick mine up and observed them putting deli roast beef on a sub roll with mozz and sticking it in the microwave… turned down the order.
I would give them a 5 star for the wings alone, but have to be harsh cause of the other food I have tried.
