Someone said they take reservations, but this is not true. I just called. I go for the half price appetizers and 2.00 drinks before 6. I don’t think I would go there and pay full price on any of it. Also on Wed nights they also have $ 2 burgers. THe regular big burger. Walleye fingers are awesome. meatloaf is terrible it seems like a pre frozen patty. But I think the tater tot hot dish is home made. Some of the waitresses are pretty bad and no one writes it down. so they bring wrong drinks and forget food.

Fun atmosphere but slow service. The drinks are good and the food is OK. The outdoor seating is really nice in the summer. It is sometimes pretty hard to get a seat but they do take reservations. Very casual sports bar meets western style.

We were served after people that came in way after us. After getting our own menus, the server finally dropped by. Our drinks came wrong, and then we waited quite a while to get our food, which was over cooked and very bland. Not impressed!

Tried calling in pick up order was put on indefinite hold so I am staying at Wyndham attached to them so I walked down to place order. I was told to order take out at the bar so I proceeded to the bar sat down and for 15 minutes wasn’t acknowledged not even asked if I wanted something to drink. You made this experience to Rochester even worse I always frequent Victoria’s when in town and you have given me more reasons not to try any other places. Terrible job by your entire team.

The happy hour here is soooo on point! 2 dollar drinks and half priced apps! I tried their tator tot hot dish ahhhhh just as good as grandmas. Server was pretty nice and knowledgable about menu. I would definitely go back!

Really awesome western themed décor. The service was friendly and fairly quick. The menu is unique and has some good downhome local staples such as meatloaf and tater tot hotdish. The food was great. Well cooked and good flavor! The blackened walleye was awesome. Also very good sloppy joes(sloppy jack’s). I would recommend this place to anyone in the nearby area!

Went there for breakfast on Father’s Day and it tuned out to be a big mistake. Instead of their normal breakfast menu, which actually looks good, they had a breakfast buffet. For $ 12 you got a selection comparable to most hotels continental breakfast(scrambled eggs, French toast, bacon, sausage links, hashbrowns, fruit, muffins, and yogurt cups was literally the entire selection). The French toast and coffee were decent, everything else was very sub-par. Overall very unimpressive. We’ve been there multiple times for dinner which has been better, but each successive trip has been a little more disappointing than the last. Too bad since it’s such a cool space and has great potential.

I was here with a group of 15. Granted, there was a large group of us but there were only 4 other people in the restaurant. The service was awful. Between waiting on appetizers and entrees, we sat for almost 2 hours. Very sub par. The next night, our group came for drinks after dinner. One of the fire pits on their patio wasn’t working, though the staff assured us it was. Sub par all the way around. Very disappointing.

Awesome happy hour deals for both drinks and food. Decent food but for the price… can you really complain? The waitstaff can be iffy but with the right bartender you can have a real good time. They have pull tabs and beanbags during the summer. Outdoor fire pits for those chilly nights. Overall a good off the main drag bar that still has a fun crowd. The best place to pre-game!

The food was great and the servers were terrible. Our waitress had no idea what the ‘Sandwich of the Day’ was or the ‘Soup of the Day’ and she had no idea what the special was either. She then brought me a Budweiser Bottle instead of the Grainbelt Tap I had ordered. Our bartender served us drinks while waiting for a table with a kleenex stuffed in her nose(presumably for either a bloody nose or a cold). If it was for a bloody nose then I’d like to know where she scored her coke cause that would be the only thing I could use to go back.

I have eaten at Cowboy Jack’s a handful of times now. Great atmosphere, indoors and out. I’ve loved everything I’ve ordered, particularly the salmon and pizza. The cooks have not cooked my friends’ food to order initially, however have personally come out to inquire on how to make it better and then have made it right… more than I can say for many restaurants and very much appreciated! Manager was also attentive and took the time to personally send apologies and offer compensation. It’s too bad the cook’s and manager’s customer service skills were not mirrored by the server’s/wait staff’s! I’ve had one stellar waitress, however the others have been less than friendly and act as if they have better things to do… even when it hasn’t been busy. If it were not for my negative experiences with the servers, I would have made my rating 5 stars.

Tried Cowboy Jack’s for the first and last time tonight. The service was slow and terrible. We waited almost ten minutes before our server greeted us and asked for our drink order. By this time happy hour was over, hence we did not order from the bar. We also waited 15 – 20 minutes for our bill. We now know why the restaurant was only half full. The food was mediocre and not worth the price. The only good point was the atmosphere.
