Jetpack Comics

Jet Pack is the best. I have been shopping there since they were in Somersworth and, for me, they are the standard I use to rate every other comic book store. All fall short.

This is a great store! They have a great variety of items in stock that I haven’t seen at other local shops.

This store really cares about its customers. Never before has a comic book store been so plesant and modern.
They always have the newest comics and other than their relativity small isle sizes, I have no complaints.
Make this your main comic book store if you can.

The greatest comic shop in the history of mankind. Massive selection of single issues, both new and old. The biggest selection of trade paperbacks and hardcovers I have ever seen. Massive selection of board games and card games along with action figures and tons of great pop culture items.
Shop is well lit and clean and they have a WALKING DEAD PINBALL MACHINE!
Great staff who are a lot of fun and know how to answer all your questions. Fantastic fun for the whole family! Always a crazy diverse bunch of customers in the shop, including tons of families. Their kids section is second to none!
Easy to see why this shop is so beloved and people travel from hours away to visit it. There’s a reason they have won so many darn awards!
Don’t miss their Free Comic Book Day Festival! It’s the biggest in the world!

There is nothing that makes this girl more happy than shopping local. When my family shops at jetpack we are doing more than buying enough comics, games, toys, knick knacks and what nots to supply the average nerd for 15 life spans, we are supporting our community and that is so important. If I had to I’d gladly drive an hour to shop here. It’s almost like they know what we’re into before we even know we’re into it and they are spot on every time with recommendations. They’re excited to tell us about the new issue of X Men or talk about Spiderman or The Punisher or to show us their exclusive covers to comics that you can’t get anywhere else or to teach us about the card or board games we’ve always been curious about but never had anyone to show us, they even have game nights! Yes. Game nights! you can’t get that at Walmart or Toys R Us or Amazon or Ebay. Every time we walk into Jetpack it’s like we’re walking into Cheers, they know our name they know our Vice and they’re there to chat with us and be general cool dudes all around. We love the absolute crap out of this place and what it stands for, Ralph the man who owns it, and the guys that eat, sleep, breathe and work in it. We will be forever nerding out and supporting the Jetpack till the end of time! (yes even after my children go away to college)

I’ve been coming to Jetpack for years and have never experienced anything less than superlative service. Special care has obviously been taken to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere in the store. The staff is not only courteous but very knowledgeable about their stock. Whenever I ask for reccomendations, they will look at the titles, authors, and illustrators I frequently purchase and will more often than not turn me on to a book I would mever have considered but wind up thoroughly enjoying. On the rare occaision that they do not have a board game in stock that I am looking for, they will not hesitate to order a copy for me. Overall, I could not think of a better shopping experience in a comic shop.

I visited Jetpack for the second time today. My first visit was for Free Comic Book Day in May, and it was so crowded that I really didn’t get a chance to check out the store. They have a great selection, and the prices are reasonable. Staff are helpful without being pushy. I really appreciate how they cater to customers, particularly with special events and exclusive items.

Rich is a great guy, He is going out of his way to make sure I get every issue of the comics I want… Thank you guys. Even though I am over 230 miles away you are MY local Shop.

Cool stuff! Always find some sweet geek pieces when I’m there. Prices are a tad on the up but what are you gonna do? Overall pretty sweet spot

Wow, so many things to look at. This place is packed with comics, board games, collectibles and merchandise. They even have their own T-​shirt designs advertizing their store. Some were very creative, I thought.
I was glad to find a variety of Doctor Who, Game of Thrones and Walking Dead items.
Staff was very friendly, helpful and quick to offer recommendations.
Apparently they have some crazy sales and creator events, but it’s recommended you sign up for their e-​mail newsletter to be «in the know».
I kind of miss riffling through back issues of comics and finding hidden gems, but those days are gone now. They do have a back stock of dollar comics and lots of older comics are now being collected into books which is pretty neat.
This place is definitely worth checking out! I’m looking forward to their free comic book day event which apparently takes place every May.

This store has some insane sales around Chrismas time. Friendly staff, great selection. If I ever had a reason to go to Rochester I’d be a regular at this place for sure.
