Jubilee Bubble Tea

I love Bubble Tea and when I found out Rochester finally has a shop that sells the real deal, I was more than ecstatic! Foodies rejoice! This business is still very new and is simply a stand located in the same building as Erberts and Gerberts downtown. Pretty much a one man show, but the options and authenticity of bubble tea is there. The only down fall is that his process is a little slow and it can take some time to get your bubble tea.
I’ve tried the Taro and the Thai bubble tea with pearls and both were wonderful. The taro root is one of the best I’ve tried because the consistency is much thinner and not as starchy as it is normally prepared. The Thai tea was also delicious, but it lacked the distinct flavor that makes a thai tea unique. I would almost equate the flavor of his thai tea to a toasted almond.
The owner is very friendly and told us his plans to build a permanent shop, can’t wait!
