Kost Tire-Muffler

I’ve been coming here for over a decade and this is the only place I will ever go for tires again. They have great customer service, workmanship, and A valuable Code of Ethics. Years ago I got tires from here and I can’t remember the specifics but something went wrong and they replaced all of them no questions asked.
Two weekends ago when I was in Westfield New York I had two tires with a nail in them. I went to Walmart as they were the only place open and they told me they could fix one but that when I got home I needed to get a brand new tire on the other. I went Kost today, and when the guy came out he told me it was $ 20. I asked what was wrong with the tire and he said that there was a nail in it but they had patched it from the inside. He proceeded to tell me that the tire was still in good shape and that I didn’t need to replace it. I walked in there thinking I had to buy a brand new tire and these guys did not take advantage of me for a second and they never will. I can’t thank them enough except to continue going here when I need repairs or tires. It’s nice to know that there are some genuine people out there who really do want to help you, especially being a woman in a field I’m not familiar with. Thank you Kost!

I went in for an alignment on my Chevy trailblazer and the tech came out to tell me that he could not align it because it needed lower ball joints first or the alignment would not last a day. I asked him to show me and he took me under the truck and showed me the looseness of the ball joints so it was true and correct his diagnoses. They told me that they could not do the job that day as it takes about 3 hours to do so I liked what I saw at the shop and Bob the Manager was as nice of a guy at a place like this as it gets. He was so polite and wanted to get me the best price possible which he did. I checked other places. He even threw in the alignment for free! I had the job done a week later by the tech I liked «john» and the truck is tighter and the steering is dead on perfect. I highly recommend This Kost Location to anyone looking for a good honest shop to take their vehicle to.
