The food here is great. The man that served us our food was very friendly and very helpful. My meal came with soup and he suggested the lentil soup. I thought«why not» as I had never tried it before. It was so delicious. The portions are VERY generous. The garlic sauce is stuff that food dreams are made of. I look forward to many more visits.

My husband and I voraciously devoured our Lazeez platter and Chicken Shawarma! Both are delicious choices and a hearty meal for any time. We look forward to frequenting Lazeez!

I have been craving middle eastern food this entire pregnancy! Finally discovered this place. We got take out 2 falafel sandwiches, one beef shawerma sandwich, and one knafeh. While waiting in the empty restaurant on a Saturday afternoon, the owner was super friendly and offered to treat us to soup or salad, we went with lentil soups. I was not a fan, it had curry or some kind of spice that is more Indian than middle eastern. The beef shawerma was ok: meat a little dry, and lacked tomatoes(which is essential in beef shawerma in my opinion). 3 stars. The falafel was delicious! Ifs a tiny sandwich so will not fill you up even if you’re not that hungry. 5 stars for taste though. The knafeh tastes ok, but stale and the top was not crunchy. Inside it didn’t taste like cheese and I don’t think it is. I don’t think I’d get it again. 2 stars. Unfortunately they forgot our other falafel sandwich and we didn’t notice until we got home. I suppose we should have checked but the restaurant being so empty we didn’t think to. Our bill was $ 19, which isn’t bad but it’s a little much for 2 small sandwiches and tiny square of knafeh. We’ll be back, but we will definitely check on our order before leaving! This place is definitely well hidden, I’ve been in Rochester for 10 months and didn’t know about it. But don’t worry, I already spread the word before I even tried it.

Quaint lovely atmosphere. Walk in and be welcomed by smiling faces. Find a spot, have a seat, & get ready to enjoy multiple Halal made dishes from Beef Shawarma to Iraqi style Kofta, Kebabs, Falafel, Tilapia, to sweet desserts of Baklava, Kenafa, and Basboosa. Highly recommend! Table settings are red & white checked reminiscent of a lunch in the park. Also, if you speak a little Arabic the owners will smile like long lost family. «Shukran» means Thank-you. Enjoy!

We have not gotten to our main course and I’m already giving this restaurant 5 stars. The smell of succulent grilled beef aroma reached our noses as we got off our car. Our server Mo was extremely nice and took time to explain their menu. He then came with a lentil soup for me and chicken soup for my wife which were both good. The chicken soup was cooked in a tomato based broth. He even gave us complementary bottled waters when we just asked for regular service water. He then came with platefuls of side dishes which were extremely good and fresh — the eggplant mash(can’t remember the name). Everything was good. Now comes our main course. I had the lamb kebab and rice. The lamb was juicy and perfectly cooked. It came with a variety of grilled veggies and pickled vegetables. EXTREMELY good. My wife’s beef kebab was a meal of it’s own. She finished her meal way ahead of me and had to take some of mine. Of course, she was pregnant and had a very good appetite. The food is cheap and worth it. Looking forward to our next trip here.

Best Mediterranean in Rochester! Chicken shawarma is delicious(but I would get without the pickle). Baba ghanoush is perfect. Would highly recommend.

This place has amazing food. They used to be at the Apache Mall and I was so sad to figure out they closed. However, I realized they just relocated! Their food is flavorful, fresh and inexpensive. Some of the best food I can find in Rochester! I am looking forward to coming back many times. I am also excited to learn that they cater! I love their humus and falafel, and meat dishes(I can’t remember their names). We ordered double just so that we had leftovers to take home. It’s wonderful to have authentic foreign food right here in Rochester!

Authentic middle eastern restaurant is a hidden gem. Ambience is nothing to write about, but the food is awesome. Definitely going back to try more.
