Little Java Coffee is just a gem yet to be found! I absolutely adore this place! When walking in you may be a little skeptical but NOWORRYS! The lovely lady who is there everyday is great! She knows how to get your drink out quick but not sloppy like Starbucks! Also her drinks aren’t just watery like Starbucks! She can take any order even if it means triple sugar and cream! Bottom line this place is the best in Rochester! Foodie approved!

Was back in town visiting some family when I got into a huge fight with my wife. After sleeping on the couch for a night, I drove around aimlessly at 6:30am in the morning. Decided to park in a random plaza and walk around for a bit just to find this treasure. The lady and nice boy working inside were especially nice and comforting. Very affordable cup of espresso that was very smooth. While the lady’s son was making the drink, the lady took time to listen to my problems and gave me advice on how to remedy the situation. Will definitely go back for both the lattes/coffee and the amazingly friendly service.

Espresso drinks are worse than Starbucks. Nice lady running the joint and I feel sorta bad leaving this review, but really. This coffee is not good. Way, way too much scalded milk and she needs a better bean + roast). Rating Scale: 1 Star: Avoid the town in which this place is located just to be safe. 2 Star: With so many great places to choose from, why risk this one? 3 Star: I’ll try it again or consume here in a pinch. 4 Star: I go here regularly if financially and/or calorically feasible. 5 Star: I look forward to taking my wife or friends here.

I’m shocked on 2 things about Little Java, first no reviews by any Unilocalers even though it’s been around for 4 years! Secondly, and maybe why, there seems to be no business, and I’m curious to how Little Java can maintain to be open. Having being in the parking lot dozens of times for my favorite Beers of the World, I saw the smoothie sign and decided to give it a shot. Located in the middle of parking lot of Winton Place, it caters to a mostly drive-thru customer. Not waiting to stare at the menu as I sat in my car I decided to park and go in. Well, this isn’t a coffee shop like Starbucks that you can sit around and use Wifi for hours. There is one table. Pretty much need to grab your cup and go. They seemed to have your basic offerings of coffees, teas, expressos and my guilty pleasure, Smoothies. I’m not a coffee drinker, so I’m not reviewing that, they apparently brew Caffe Darte’s coffee(?) though. For smoothies, they have about 5 – 6 flavors, and impressed that is wasn’t all purrees. Granted it was frozen fruit, but I’ve been to wayyyy too many places that doesn’t use any resemblance of fruit at all. It took a few minutes to get it, but it is well worth the $ 4 and change it costs. They filled it past the cup and up thru the dome top and even put pieces of full frozen fruit on top! I’ve been back twice, and is my pick for best smoothies in the city!
