Miss Pamela’s The Plus-Size Bridal Salon

My fiancé and I are both plus size brides. Miss Pamela’s is a trek from Chicago, but our choices in the city were basically… none! We decided to make the trek. We made it clear that we are a lesbian couple when we made our appointment, but we were still concerned about how we would be treated in a small Indiana town. Our concerns were put at ease immediately. They could not have been more welcoming and kind to us. Miss Pamela was lovely. Upon our return to pick up our beautiful gowns, Makenzie and Kate were ready and excited to see us. I cannot say enough good about our experience.

Very friendly staff, but wish they’d given me better feedback as I was not happy wirh the dress I purchased and could have used more honest feedback.

I cannot say enough good things about Miss Pamela’s. As a plus-​size bride, I was so nervous about dress shopping. I was not confident that I would feel beautiful or like a bride. How wrong I was.
I went there on Friday (07÷10÷15), with an entourage of 9 in tow. Miss Pamela and Sarah (my sales woman) were beyond accommodating. I tried on 7 dresses including the one in the window we had all oohed over as we walked in. That was the one.
If you are looking for a bridal shop to make you feel beautiful no matter your size or shape, Miss Pamela’s is it. Totally worth the hour and a half drive.

What a pleasure shopping for bridal gowns!
My sisters, my mother, and I made the trek to Miss Pamela’s from Toledo, OH for my sister’s bridal gown. We were all so pleased to have made the trip and didn’t regret the three hour drive at all! My sister (the bride) is plus sized and was so excited to find a place that caters to plus size women exclusively. We made an appointment during the week and headed to Indiana.
First off, the bridal shop is very beautifully decorated and comfortable for brides and their crew. The staff is just delightful! The bride worked with Kate and she had great insights as to what the bride wanted, staying within budget, and what would look good on the bride. Every dress my sister tried on was beautiful on her. It seemed like each dress was better than the last. She found the perfect gown and just loved the experience!
While the bride was trying on gowns, my sisters, my mother, and I got to relax on spacious couches near the mirrors where the bride showed off the gowns she was wearing. The dressing rooms where the bride actually got into her dresses were very spacious and comfortable.
The owner, Pamela, came out to talk to us during check out and she was such a polite and fun woman to talk to. All off the staff we met were great. I would highly recommend a trip to Miss Pamela’s for a plus sized bridal gown.

Oh, I cannot begin to explain the amazing experience I had at Miss Pamela’s. From the moment I walked into the shop I felt like a gorgeous bride. Pamela and my consultant, Sarah, were so kind and excited for me. They stayed within my budget requests and didn’t even attempt to show me anything outside of my price range. They found me styles I hadn’t considered before and put me in dresses that made me feel amazing.
They have such a wide range of styles, prices and options. Every bride who was in there during my appointment seemed happy and excited.
