Netsin’s has the BEST soft serve in Rochester. They also have Perry’s hard ice cream but I almost never get it because the soft serve is so good. Sometimes I like to get a slushie float(slush puppy + ice cream). It’s not on the menu but they’ll make it for you and it’s really good. For a special treat in the Fall, get a waffle cone with a scoop of pumpkin hard ice cream and vanilla soft serve. This place is the best. Their staff is always friendly and efficient, it’s clean, and never disappoints. If only it was open year-round! Note: they are cash only and I don’t think they have a bathroom for customers.

Family owned and operated neighborhood corner ice cream shop… The kind of place that childhood dreams are forged in. A sparkling gem in an unassuming place… it’s opening each season a welcome symbol of the warmth of summer, it’s closing a melancholy rite of autumns inevitable passing. Neighbors and friends collide in conversations and sprinkled topped confections. Not many places like this any more, I highly recommend trying the everlasting memories… And for goodness sake, spring for the bigger size bowl :)

Netsin’s will always have my heart; the line usually looks deceivingly long, but they move ‘em quickly! I can’t speak to their regular ice cream, I go strictly for the soft-serve, a childhood favorite that has become harder and harder to find.

Came here with a friend for ice cream. Fire fighter themed which is pretty cool. Perry’s ice cream and they give you huge servings. I ordered a regular and it’s about 3 large scoops of ice cream. You can eat outside or inside. Great selection of ice cream and shakes. They also have soft served.

In my neighborhood just never been until today! My kids had soft serve vanilla with chocolate sprinkles and I had bittersweet symphony in a chocolate dipped waffle cone. Mine was glorious!!! The soft serve tastes different than any I’ve ever had, almost a buttery flavor. I kinda was digging it. Kiddie size is sufficient for an adult and for us three it was under $ 10 :) We were the only ones there at 6pm on a Friday which was surprising but it is October so there’s that.

I had high hopes for this place based on the reviews. They advertise their ice cream as «custard» when it is actually just soft serve– and not very good soft serve. The only good thing was the price– around $ 2.50 for a kiddie, which was the size of a medium somewhere else. But when ordering a «kiddie» I don’t want that much ice cream, so I was put off.

Love Netsins! Great soft serve, great custard, a regular cone is really the size of a large. Friendly customer service. I’ve never tried it myself, but they offer an Ice cream version of a garbage plate. I, but man does it look good. If you show up on a weeknight between 6 – 8 and there isn’t a line, your lucky. My only real complains are that they only have 3 pick nick tables, when they could probably use 6, and that they don’t accept credit cards. Great local place to enjoy during the summer!

I don’t always eat ice cream, but when I do it’s Perry’s. … My hometown ice cream shop served Perry’s so it’s like I’m back in HF like the old days. Yay! There’s an ice cream place around the corner. As spring finally graced us with her presence, I immediately craved a walk around the neighborhood with ice cream in hand. I wasn’t sure if there were any places nearby and expected I’d have to drive to Park Ave or Webster to fulfill the craving. That is until I searched Unilocal and found Netsin’s nearly around the corner. They have the usual soft serve plus some tasty Perry’s hard ice cream flavors. A few worth mentioning: — cookie dough(always a good choice) — bittersweet symphony(coffee ice cream with fudge chunks) — cannoli(!) — caramel cup If I get soft serve, I must have rainbow sprinkles. It was a special treat when I was a kid, and it’s a special treat now. Their portions are pretty large(I ordered a kiddie). Next time, I’ll ask for a little less. It was tough to finish. Also, I highly recommend the dipped waffle cones… they have chocolate not only on the edge, but inside the whole damn thing. So. Good. P. S. Cash only and when we were there the ATM was down.

What’s not to love about this place? It’s like your ma and pop ice cream shop. Great prices! And I especially like that there is a kid size available(one generous scoop). They trade out flavors regularly and always have the best quality ice cream. My personal favorite is the pumpkin(but I think it is seasonal). There are also several other unique flavors. Outdoor seating is a plus, too.

Lots of soft serve flavor options, but nothing that will knock your socks off. It’s a nice neighborhood ice cream stand.

It seems that once a ice cream place gets big enough in WNY, they decide they can raise the prices, and a special treat for a family of 4 can reach upwards of $ 20 or more! Netsin’s to the rescue. Located on a small corner one won’t necessarily happen to pass by, it’s worth the trip. I love supporting my small business owners and they deserve it more than your local abbott’s. I was disappointed they didn’t have homemade ice cream, but Netsin’s puts its own flair to custard. You can have vanilla, chocolate or a twist mixed in with flavorings for over 50 different combinations. They also have the beloved childhood fascination of baseball cap sundaes of your favorite ball team! This Netsin’s location has benches outside for fine summer nights with also a walkup window. With hardly any business when we went, we went inside to escape the heat. WIth Perry’s as the main draw, there are some flavors i haven’t seen before. After trying a few samples, I ended up with the ever popular cannoli and was impressed. What was the biggest attraction was pricing. Not wanting too much we both got kiddie sizes. Which ended up being two massive scoops for get this, $ 2.13! Beyond reasonable. Great ice cream at I can’t believe that just happened prices.

I have to take issue with Emily M’s dismissal of the hard ice cream. After all, when fresh and creamy Perry’s is on the menu, it’s a struggle to pick between strawberry, bittersweet sinphony, cannoli, pistachio… It does feel like a secret, tucked away on a dark corner of a residential neighborhood. Plenty of families make the late-night trip for a pre-TrimSpa-Anna-Nicole-sized kiddie cone. I haven’t gotten a good malted shake out of them yet, but they remain my scoop shop of choice.

SKIPABBOT’S ANDHEADTONETSIN’S INSTEAD! No one has reviewed Netsin’s because the only people who know about it are locals who don’t want to share the secret! I’m a local, but I’m letting you in on it. They have over 50 flavor combinations for frozen custard(yogurt to the out of towners) and everyone I take here picks a new one and loves it. Any variety of berry cheesecakes, exotic flavors, and so much more in a soft serve! I believe it’s owned by some local volunteer firefighters which makes it that much cooler. ALSO: try the cookie or brownie plate(Netsin’s answer to Rochester’s «Garbage Plate») at least once. It can be finished in one sitting if you have a buddy! P. S. They also have hard serve ice cream but, really? No need.
