Had a great haircut and color with Susan who was recommended by a friend while I was in town. She was booked, but worked me in and was amazing and friendly. Can’t wait to visit my friend again so I can get my hair done.

I’ve worked here for almost 4 months and it is a great environment! Each stylist brings something to the table and a rallied together by an amazing receptionist!

I came here for a day of pampering and hoping that I would leave looking less my age and feeling less better about this vagrant patch of grey hairs that popped up on my head. I had an appointment with Sue Michaels, who is phenomenal. I’ve actually been following her around for more than half my life to have her cut my hair. She has that rare skill that your hair looks good immediately after she cuts it, several weeks later, and even as it is growing out. And her eye for color is unparalleled! She always picks the right colors to brighten up your own hair and facial features. While she mixed up my colors, another employee chatted with me about the changes I wanted to make, etc. Then after getting the color put on my hair, i was led to another area to wait for a while and let the color take. Shortly after, the friendly assistant came to lead me to the hair-​washing station and that was very relaxing! Then I returned to Sue’s realm and she began to make me look better.
Apparently she designed the studio herself and since I had recently bought a new home and gone through the drama of choosing designs/​paints/​decorators/​etc, we had a lot to talk about. Her studio is very nicely done, with great color schemes and pleasing geometry. There are big floor-​to-​ceiling windows right at the cutting stations so you get a great view of 4^th street and a bit of the Main Street intersection. It has a very European feel just with the design & layout. You don’t feel pretentious or intimidated being in there.
I highly recommend it to anyone in or near the Rochester area, or who loves the haircuts so much they are willing to drive from an hour away like I did!!!
