One L Salon is a charming and welcoming gem on Park Avenue. Michelle is an enthusiastic, expert owner who has created the perfect local place for pampering. Her blowouts are second to none, with every customer I’ve seen leaving with a renewed sense of confidence. Jayme is another one of the salon’s master stylists and she could not be nicer, friendlier or more patient. Both her cuts and her colors show precision, attention to detail, a commitment to listen to her customer and an adept artistry. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a place that feels like you’re just hanging out «with the girls» but then *bonus* you leave with beautiful hair!

Where do I begin? One word… Amazing. For the first time in years, I left Michele’s salon feeling beautiful. We all know that moment of how scary it can be trying a new place but from the first minute of talking with Michele on the phone, I felt at ease. Michele is confident, truly talented, and her personality radiates. I will definitely not be looking to go anywhere else. Thank you Michele for the amazing hair and experience!

I cannot say enough for Michele and the One L Salon. The chic boutique style space is nestled in a great neighborhood of Rochester. Though I live about ½ hour away, I was happy to give it a shot. OH MY!!! Michele expertly blew out my kinky curly hair and gave me one of the best cuts I have ever gotten. My brows, which were a wreck walking in, were professionally shaped and cared for with minimal discomfort. I happily booked my next appointment and cannot wait to return. Do yourself a favor and book today at One L. You will thank me! :)

I am not a frequent Unilocaler, but I felt the need to tell everyone how great Michele is at One L. My mom, sister and I followed Michele from her previous salon because we were all so impressed with her hair cuts, coloring and everything she does. I can speak for them both when I say she’s always really in tune with what we are asking for and the best stylist we have been to yet. The salon itself is comfortable and very chic, with extremely reasonable prices! Needless to say, highly recommend!

Totally pleased with this great salon mainly because Michele is such a master at what she does, making transformations with style. I am always pleased with results. Color comes out just right, cut current and flattering, eyebrows, the works! Atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, location central on Park Avenue, trendy with character. One L Salon fits right in because it offers the best in new trends and also reflects strong character of Michele, whom you can trust to do just what you need to look your best. Results are not only just right but also long lasting: hair stays looking freshly done with little maintenance. What more can you ask? Everything is what it should be!

A perfect little place on Park Ave, a much more personalized experience than any DryBar could offer (this coming from a dry-​bar addict from California). I came in thinking I wanted a simple blowdry for my long hair and left with a gorgeous 1940’s updo instead. The ladies at the One L Salon were very friendly, patient, detail-​oriented and extremely skilled. I loved everything about that place.

I can not gush enough about Michele at One L! She is professional, talented and outright amazing. I have full trust in Michele to make me look good while making sure that my hair needs are met. My most recent hair cut still looks amazing weeks later. My favorite part is that Michele always teaches me how to create salon style at home. The facilities are gorgeous and welcoming. I can not recommend One L salon enough!
