10 for 20 deal very good and a lot of food cheap. Real cheesesteak subs. I had a buffalo chicken sub delicious and filling very clean restaurant

This place is delicious. I had the original philly w/​cheese whiz and green bell peppers, regular order of fresh cut fries & a Snapple. Food was amazing, hot, fresh & made to order. Place was very clean, ample parking. Only complaint I have is that when you have a 30 minute lunch break and there was 2 people ahead of me after I ordered & the food was made I only had about 5 minutes left. Which is not enough time to eat. I understand made to order takes time. But with only 2 people working & a line piling up it is not a good place to grab a quick lunch unless you call in your order before hand. That is why I am giving it 4 instead of 5 stars.

Although not a native of Philly, I spent lots of time during school and have eaten my fare share of cheesesteaks. That said, Philly Steakout is a fairly authentic steak joint with a tasty sandwich offering.
Staff were friendly, plenty of seating to eat in or take out. Enough parking available although you may have to go behind the building. It’s seems like a locally owned/​operated type place not a chain. Prices were reasonable and the preparation was as timely as one can expect for a fresh-​grilled hot sandwich.
What really stood out to me was the variety of toppings that were available, particularly having many different sauces and even different types of peppers to choose from. Fries came with a little seasoning on them, and I think there was vinegar available as well as ketchup — nice to see the little touches of details even though it’s not a «gourmet» restaurant.
I’ll definitely be visiting again for a meaty cheesy treat!

Never even knew this place existed until I came across a $ 10 for $ 20 of food deal.
I had a cheesesteak, and it was excellent. Most other area cheesesteaks tend to be dry and/​or flavorless. This one was delicious, and filling!
My fiancée had the philly classic, she felt it was very good, just a little salty for her tastes.
The sweet potato fries were pretty standard. The guys working there were super friendly and accommodating. $ 10 for everything we had was an absolute steal. I will definitely return.

Philly classic: onions, mushrooms, banana peppers, pizza sauce and american. Beats the heart of Philly at its own game.

I have visited this place a few times the past few months, and every time I am thoroughly impressed. The first few times, we would order large chicken and steak subs and they’ll make the sub to your exact liking (‘shrooms, peppers, onions, several choices of cheeses, banana peppers, tomatoes, lettuce, and a whole bunch of sauces as well). There are also pickles you can self –serve and put in little solo canister cups yourself (similar to Schallers) You get a good size sub when ordering a large, and the bread is always fresh.
Now, what am I about to tell you might be a HUGE SHOCKER, so bear with me. You might want to sit down for this.
Philly Steakout might have the BEST CHICKEN WINGS IN ROCHESTER, NY. We were absolutely blown away when we ordered them the other night.
a) They are battered in some heavenly like batter.
b) They are Billy Fuccillo HUUUUUUUUUGE !!!
c) The Garlic Parm were AMAZING!!!
d) Their Boss Sauce variation rivals Country Sweet
e) However, wings do not come with bleu cheese or celery
Everything is reasonable priced. The service is extremely fast, and the workers are very personable and social. Will definitely be coming to this place quite often.

Great philly cheesesteaks. Very consistent. The owner is always there and the staff is friendly and clearly takes pride in their work. I suggest getting the extra meat option though to really make your sandwich stellar.

I drive by here everyday and never stopped in until last night. I love a good steak sandwich, but i just always forget this place is here! Well I remembered last night, and so glad I did have to say, they do a great version of a steak sandwich here indeed. There are options if you want to change it up from the traditional, they have grilled chicken, salads, a variety of sauces to put on your sandwich… My husband chose the in house made green curry sauce which had great flavor, while mot being overly hot. I went very traditional with shaved beef, grilled onions, peppers, onions, mushrooms and cheese whiz (yes!— you can choose from several cheese options, btw). So good! The best steak sandwich I have had in years. I usually just get one sandwich and have my 2 kids split it, but in this case they finished and both wanted another… The employees (I think one was the owner) were both friendly and quick on the grill too. Small space with a handful of tables, but very clean, bright and inviting. Definitely will be back.
