Similar to Aldi except more national brand items. Bring your own bags. The produce is hit and miss here. I do get lemons, limes and some bagged lettuce mixes here — always the cheapest. I don’t buy meat here — the chicken often smells bad and I only had to smell that once to stay away. I take a walk through here every so often as you find some great deals — like today the National brand Greek yogurt was 3/$ 1.00 which is a steal as its usually like $ 1 each. They also always have Dinosaur BBQ sauce for $ 1.99 a bottle. They accept Credit and Debit. I’m excited by small things like this :)

We came here looking for basics — chicken thighs, soap, and cotton balls. When I walked in I was appalled by the produce section. Limes shrivelled to the size of grapes, lettuce that looked like it had been run over by a car, and green beans that were no longer green. We found the Perdue chicken, but the package was leaking juice. Not only that, but this juice smelled terribly rancid. Just imagine the most unhygienic person you know not bathing for a week and how the most stinky part of his/her body would smell. Ugh. When we tried to wipe our hands we found the paper towel dispenser hidden behind a shelf of ‘reduced for quicksale’ produce. Considering the quality of the regular produce, I didn’t even want to know how decomposed the quicksale stuff was. We went home as quickly as possible to wash our hands!

Price Rite is a no-frills grocery«supermarket». Plenty of interesting foodstuffs. Occupies the space that was at one time Freddy’s. While I don’t find much here that I wouldn’t prefer getting from Aldi’s, I do have friends who swear by ‘em.
