I know the funds go toward charity but seriously your prices are outrageous. Some of the furniture costs more used than if it were brand new. The ladies here are delusional on some of the pricing. I don’t think these women shop often because they price things as if they were brand new and from a high end department store. Sorry but you need more realistic prices or let someone young who knows what is going on and is current with the times do your pricing.

What a great place to shop. The all volunteer crew are the NICEST people !! This week I needed a dress for the Miltida Willson Tea party at Medowbrook. Everyone scurried around looking for and found the perfect tea length 1900 Era dress. $ 13.00 .can u believe it. Then called to say they had 2 cherry side tables I had been looking for for months. Got both for $ 132. What a deal. All the money goes to feed and clothe needy children in our community. Wed is sr. senior 15% day. See coupons on your phone to.

This is a pretty small resale shop. From what I overheard from the staff, it’s also a consignment shop, which gives you the opportunity to sell your clothes as consignment for up to 60 days. After those 60 days if it still hasn’t sold, your items are donated to the store and the profit is donated the one of the several charities they support. They had some nice quality items, but most of it was very old-person fashion, which is fine, but not my taste. I got a pair of Ferragamo flats for $ 25 which is a steal since they were barely worn. They had about 15 other pairs available all for the same price, which was nice. I think their prices are reasonable considering some of their higher end items they have. My problem with the store was that the staff was less than friendly. I walked in with my mom and nobody bothered to say hello or ask us if we needed any help, but they were perfectly friendly to about half of the other customers I saw walking in. We were obviously browsing to shop, and they didn’t say anything to us until I asked them about the other shoe of the Ferragamo flats I was looking at. Even when I was checking out, one lady was especially rude to my mom which I really did not appreciate. They’re all volunteers and they’re there to help the store earn money to donate to charities. A little customer service would have left a sweeter taste in my mouth. Other than that, the store was fine.

The Resale Connection is a gem for recycled high-end clothing and nice housewares. The staff is always friendly, and the business is a part of Assistance League of Southeastern Michigan. Therefore, the shop is staffed by volunteers and all proceeds go to helping economically compromised people in our community(e.g., domestic violence shelters, as one volunteer told me). The other reviewer gave the shop a 3 start rating and said it was too expensive, but $ 75 for a mint-condition, gently used Louis Vuitton handbag is NOTEXPENSIVE! If you’re a savvy shopper, you can find some great steals at this charity boutique. Highly recommended! In fact, I’m a poor graduate student, and I’m going to look for a suite there today.

This is a very nice charitable organization, but a bit expensive for second hands, even though there are many designer brands. Nicely organized and friendly service.
