I don't think it's fair that if you get you your haircut and it's done horribly and it's too short basically be on repair and a owner refuses to provide a refund or help fix the damage that was done because you don't want to go back to the original person. I don't think that's good customer service!!

The Best. I have gone to many high end salons in Rochester and kept leaving depressed at how long it would take to grow out the mess that was just done to my hair. Hairdressers have a tendency to not listen to what you actually want — and give you what you think you need. Scott Miller ruined my hair for years with all of their razor cutting. I decided to try Salon Amissa after seeing some friends and family use them without crying. I see Michele Mule and my dreams have been fulfilled. Michele colors and cuts my hair and I have never had so many compliments on the natural color and the great cuts. She knows exactly what to do when you show her a picture and never goes overboard. I have never once gripped the seat under the cape or cried in the car on the way home. Salon Amissa is a fun environment and we always have a lot of laughs… it’s like you would expect a ladies hair salon to be. I look forward to going to my appointment and I trust that I will walk out of there feeling beautiful.

I choose this salon based on their Unilocal rating after a terrible cut from another place. They were able to get me an appointment quickly, when I arrived the staff was friendly from the moment I walked in. The salon was clean and relaxing. My appointment was with Kathleen, she did a great job fixing the uneven disaster cut I came in with! I left not only happy but with another appointment already scheduled.

These women are so talented. They all have had extensive training. I have never left disappointed. Not only are they on top of their game but they are so welcoming. Atmosphere is not stuffy at all.
