Speedy’s Cleaners

First I want to say that it gives me no pleasure to write a disagreeable review, but my experience at speedy’s cleaners was unacceptable. Back in April I went to this store to have my fairly new (and expensive) down comforter dry cleaned. Long story short, I went back to the store every week for 6 weeks as they kept telling me my comforter should be back in a few days. It took them 1 ½ months of me constantly going back to the store and getting the managers phone# for them to finally admit they lost my item. We then went through some paperwork for reimbursement of my comforter — the tag on my packaging said the original price but the owner was uncomfortable with reimbursing me the entire amount (~$ 600) because he said he couldn’t know if that’s what it was purchased for or not because I didn’t have my receipt. We came to the agreement of them replacing my item with the same comforter (which had gone on sale after the winter season) and dry cleaning the item before delivering it to me. They ordered the comforter online and it wasn’t scheduled to deliver for a few weeks. I was away for the summer and therefore did not get my item back for 3 – 4 months from which I original was suppose to. Additionally, i trust they did dry clean the comforter as they said… But the quality of the cleaning was awful, I wish I had just taken the comforter in the original packaging. The stench of whatever they used to clean and dry the comforter left a burnt/​dusty smell on what was suppose to be a new item. The workers and staff were perfectly nice throughout this whole process… But the quality of the service and cleaning is why I will not return or trust them with my nice clothing or items.

They are open until 6 on weeknights which is great because you can get in after work without too much hassle. Very quick service and very reasonable prices.
