came here for an afternoon coffee and the sign was open – but they were mid mass. We felt so bad! Even though we intruded on their mass the owner(?) was very kind and offered to serve us. In the end she just gave us some free coffee. We had to leave them something in the tip jar for being such jags. Plain coffee was hot, tasty, and just fine.

Stumbled upon this place when we moved into the area. When I came in and ordered a latte, it took three people to figure out how to make it. By the time I received it, it was not good. Instead of complaining about my dissatisfaction, I just left.

Great coffee and they have yummy organic chocolate. All their employees are volunteering. Great cause!

Great mission, alright coffee. You never quite know what you’re going to be handed because the place is run mostly by volunteers. Love that idea by it lends itself to some sort of questionable lattes.

This is a unique coffee shop in the Cedar wood plaza off 18th ave&41st st NW. St. James is a catholic coffee shop and features a Chapel and much literature. There are frequent speaking guests and musicians. The staff is very friendly and always have a smile. They serve delicious coffee, other drinks, and have sandwiches and snacks.
